No early access for the standard edition?

No. Only the deluxe editions. Not the standard. The standard edition gets the standard release date. It wouldn't make sense to have an early release date for all editions because that would just be a release date.

I have never pre-ordered the deluxe edition and I've always had early access. It would make sense. If I'm pre-ordering, I'm paying for the game before I'm able to play it, before official launch.

You're right. They used to have an MVP edition which was 10 dollars more than the standard. I used to get that one. Maybe I did get the deluxe last year, can't remember. It's all good. I'll wait till official lauch I guess since I already bought the standard edition.

No, early access is one of the carrots they use to get you to upgrade to one of the special editions, been that way for 3 years if not longer.

Is there a digital version of the Standard version? If so and you bought that; you may be able to call PS Support and update to at least the Digital Deluxe.
