Ever since 2017 (2021 excepted and 2018 sorta), the Live Series Collection has always been the highest-profile debuting legend (Babe was the big one in 18, but they did the Immortals thing and made Vlad (the 2nd highest profile debuting legend) the Collection.
Jeter, like him or not (and I'm on the "not" side) is the highest profile debuting legend this year.

They could put in a special episode afterwards … everything is possible … as I said: All speculation
One last question: Why wait for season 2 to put in such a famous hitter ? btw: They did not say, that season 1 guys are in season 2 (but it could make sense)

Just dont do a Madden or NBA and bring back a legend we use to have and make him the ultimate reward like Ted Williams.

I skipped last year's game. Were there any really awesome debuting legends I missed out on that will likely be back this year?

Randy Johnson was the big one. Though I’m assuming he was in the game before when he was active. He had 2 amazing 99s.
Mike Mussina had a solid card (I thought so at least)
Roy Halladay was a big one, not sure if people loved his card.
Other notables- Ray Durham, Joe Mauer, Chase Utley, Ryan Howard, Mike Napoli, Kevin Youkalis, Justin Mourneau and some others. I’m sure I’m missing some bigger ones.

They better do Justin Mourneau better justice this year. His best card was a MVP 98 overall card. Yet, Hosmer gets a finest 99 card.
Kirk Gibson was a good one. Espeicially his 94 collection card at the beginning of the game.

You had me at randy johnson. That's one I've been wanting for years. Now I wish I had played last year.
