Mike Lowell it is. WooHoo
Big fan….or sarcasm? haha
He is retired but hardly a Legend....in my mind anyway. I know he meets the criteria as a "Legend" for SDS. But I digress.
Yep, I’m with you for sure. I feel like there should be another category for guys like this: Alumni for retired player.
-
Lowell is alot better than Jeff Fn Conine.
Scraping the bottom of the barrel
-
Lowell is better than Ian Kinsler, but still nothing terribly exciting.
Have to expect the first few reveals to be lower tier guys and the bigger names will come as we get closer to the release of the new game.
-
I have his Bobblehead, if that counts for anything.

Where's Ty Cobb?
It's too bad his life was tarnished with lies by authors trying to make a buck off his name in biographies. So, he has a reputation that continues him that he was racist when probably, he wasn't.

Have you read Ty Cobb A Terrible Beauty by Charles Leerhsen? Sets the record pretty straight and debunks many misconceptions about Cobb. He was by no means a saint and like just about everyone in that era, had his prejudices but he was actually a loud advocate for integration long before Branch Rickey brought Jackie to the Dodgers and had many other decent qualities. Extremely well researched and written

Mike Lowell had a .805 OPS lifetime and over 200 HR. He was really solid and def and at least a Marlins Legend :). Best season 2007 with a 5 WAR.
Nice pick, especially for the early reveals. Hopefully the very good one are coming later -

I don't think he can park there...

Like Lowell.......2007 WS MVP for my sawx.
-
I presume today's reveal will be during the Feature Premiere......which tells me it will be a bigger one.
-
Today's Clue:
300+ Career HR
Silver SluggerMy Guess/Hope:
-
There are alot of guys that have 300+ HR and a silver slugger but the silhouette just straight up looks like Mark Teixiera to me

Tex has 400+ home runs though. Possible they could be being sneaky, but you would think they wouldn't undermine his career total with that hint.
Just saying though if you include his postseason numbers, Bernie Williams has 309 home runs and won a Silver Slugger in 2002.

I think you are right based on images I just looked at. Sierra would be a nice choice as well though. Both power switch hitters and that is always good.

Pujols had a 500 HR card in 2021 when he was closer to 700 than he was to 500. It wouldn't be unusual for SDS.
-
Hard to tell if the silhouette is from the front or behind to determine if this is a lefty or righty. 🧐
-
It’s going to be Jay Bruce.

Almost every player that has 300 HR won a silver slugger. Yesterday they intentionally left out WS MVP because it would have been much easier to guess lowell. If they put 400 HRs as a hint it would cut 100 players out of the guessing pool
I'll add that I've been around a long time and my contribution to this forum is the guy that guesses these right, it's my whole thing. I'm not going to rule anyone out but my success rate is probably 90% or more
