I think it would be cool if we could get Ichiro or Beltre back just some modern legends.

Any starting pitcher for the Pirates lol

    Wow. Tough one there.
Without looking online, Doug Drabek is the only guy who comes to mind.
    Bob Walk? John Candeleria?

Ok, peeked online. The Yucks Top 10 All-time Starting Pitchers is a list containing not one player I've heard of.
Number 1 is a guy named Babe Adams who played before electricity was used.
    'nuff said.

Don’t forget about the two Ricks! Rick Rhoden and the absolute Adonis ‘bod of Rick Reushel…who spent a few years there before heading out to SF where he reached infamy by being posterized (well, the baseball equivalent anyhow) by none other than Bo Jackson when he served him up a tape-measure lead off bomb to straight away CF in the 1989 All-Star Game.

I seriously don’t know who might win in a pose down between Rick Reuschel and Bartolo Colon but it definitely would be close!

This is not the most exciting “legend”. I hope they’ve got a few good ones up their sleeve.

Drabek won a Cy Young and Steve Blass pitched 2 CG Wins in the same World Series

Hmmm he’s not a new Legend if he has been in the game before. Just silly

I just want David Wright back in the game and some other names but him being the MLB 07 The Show cover athlete and not being in this game (along with Puig not being in the game from 15) was a little disappointing.

How's it going fellow show players, took a few months off from the game and forum and want to spark some conversation. Besides the obvious(steroid guys, Dimaggio, etc.) who would you want to see in 23 for new legends? My number 1 guy has always been Magglio Ordoñez

Doc Gooden, Daryl Strawberry, Bob Horner, Jesse Barfield and a few former Expos (Being from Montreal) like Ken Singleton, Tim Raines (I can't believe he's never been in that game), Larry Parrish, Tim Wallach, The big Cat, Steve Rogers...

An excellent list. Actually, I don’t think I’ve ever seen one that I didn’t like! You had me at “Doc”, and would absolutely LOVE a chance to hit a (virtual) baseball using Strawberry’s magnificent cut…talk about wrist strength! Barfield concealed a catapult all those years disguised as an arm. While we’re talking Expos, give me some Hubie Brooks and Razor Shines!

Hey @SaveFarris_PSN…what is that ultra-cool, very informative/intuitive looking interface that you’re sporting there? That looks quite handy!

I'm surprised no one mentioned Jose Vidro. He was a switch-hitting second baseman who was almost a career .300 hitter in 12 seasons, highlighted by hitting .330 with 24 homers and 97 RBIs in 2000. I remember when he was one of the players at the top of fantasy drafts back in the day, even if it was mainly due to position scarcity.

I actually skipped '22. Did I miss out on any really cool new legends who are likely to be back for this year's game?
