Didn't expect this considering everyone was expecting it in last year's game and again in this years game. The haters will be coming out in full force now.
Jazz is a good cover athlete, but not because he's one of the best players in baseball (which he is not). It's because he's probably the most well-known player that actually plays the game and is a fan of it. I imagine he'll be playing known streamers this year for advertising purposes.

So they'll probably release an 88 overall version that you can get Day 1, then a 99 overall will be the Collect the LS reward, then towards the end of the year; they'll release a Milestone 99

I was planning on taking the year off from this game. I just won't have much time to play and I didn't want to commit to trying to collect 'em all like I usually do. Jeter was probably the only player that could have pulled me back in. I guess I'll try to squeeze in a few games a week when I can.
And before people chime in with how overrated Jeter was...I don't care. He was one of my favorite players growing up. The attributes on his card are going to be jacked so you can save your common defense jokes. He'll have gold defense as a minimum on his top card, and you'll probably be able to prestige it up to diamond. If you think I'm wrong, then I don't know what game you've been playing. Inflation has been hitting attributes even harder than the economy.

To your other point... I will probably play less this year myself and just focus on the stuff I like. I scrambled like crazy in 21 and 22 to "get everything", so I'll slow it down somewhat. Maybe I'll run into you in a BR game again and you can get all of your missions accomplished in a single game.

I'm not sure I'll be playing online at all this go around. I'm getting promoted to dad around the first week of April. I'm not sure how many uninterrupted games I'll be able to get through, so I may be stuck with conquest and mini seasons where I can pause.

Just not a fan of where this game is going.
When you have to put anime cartoons and superhero themes in your baseball game something has gone astray.
And somehow Jeter will have 125 power. Straight crazy

Playing video games while your kid cries for you is the new way to be a dad it seems. At least when I'm playing COD it is.

While I was never a Jeter fan, this was a significantly better promo and cover. This should satisfy most people.

Congrats! You can ask @IceMeltFire_PSN how difficult it is being a new dad and trying to get some game time in. It’s not easy. But then, he’s also working on a PhD.

The first 6 months are the easy part.only the fact that 3-4 hours seem to the max on sleeping is what makes it interesting.
Now the real fun beings with being able to move, then you can look at nothing else and you constantly are trying to keep them from getting into anything when their purpose is getting into EVERYTHING.
(and they are incredibly fast too )
