Notifications Don't Work

I've reinstalled it probably 10 times over the past few months. Just did again. Still doesn't fix the issue

Okay, I'll reach out in chat and hopefully we can fix this issue.

I am having the same issue but the difference is that I've been having it since about 4 months before 22 came out. I've been trying to fix it since 21
-
Notifications haven't worked for me either for the past month or so. I've tried to reinstall and resign in and it hasn't fixed the issue. I'm on an S20 Ultra

Was having the same problem after I bought my new phone after a while it started working and then stopped again. I've never had a problem with it working on my other phone I even uninstalled it on my other phone to see if it will work and nothing has changed. I've had to resort to allowing notifications from chrome on the marketplace website to get my notifications. By the way I'm on the Pixel 7 Android 13. Using app version 2.1.8

Did you ever get this working, and how did you solve the issue if so? I'm using the same phone. Thanks!

Of course not. 10 months later and they still haven't been able to fix the issue. Each time they are chatting with me they eventually just stop talking because they can't figure out the issue. They're useless

I'm a loyal Pixel only phone person myself.
Most apps for advanced Chrome OS will have advanced notification settings. Have you seen pop ups that say "Receive notifications while using this app vs Notifications all the time, Block Notifications"
Unfortunately, there's probably something stuck in a cache after one of the updates and no matter what you do, it's still in there.
Reinstalling an app won't guarantee that the associated data cache is removed. When you reinstall the backend data remains in the root directory and has notifications still off.
Just my theory here.
I'm on Pixel 5 and always get my notifications. When I upgraded 2 years ago from my Pixel 2 XL, I never had an issue either.

Yes I did. It just started working on its own again out of nowhere. It was nothing that I did. Unfortunately I decided to factory reset my phone not thinking of the companion app at all and I'm back to the same problem. Logged in to my Show account on my browser and enabled notifications for mlb22.theshow.com and they come in that way. It's still a method I don't prefer because you have to repeatedly log in to the show website and that's the only way the notifications come through. Just hoping they'll pop in like the last couple of times.
By the way did yours ever magically start working?
-
I don't recommend uninstalling and reinstalling because this might reset the pop on out of nowhere that's been happening to me. Sucks for @DixonHerize6_XBL because it's been almost a year and still nothing.

Mine started working after I opened a pack for the first time in the app. So weird!

Indeed it does. Problem is this company doesn't care at all about their customers so it will never get fixed
