So your idea is to make LS cards useless and worthless until the last month of the year
I can counter that. SUPERCHARGE EVERY LS CARD FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE GAME CYCLE STARTING NOVEMBER 1.
Problem solved. That's why I'm here on the forums. To provide the big ideas.

My wheels are always turning in regards to how this game could be different. Sometimes my ideas are absolute garbage but sometimes they are a gem.
Have you ever considered making live series cards starting out as commons or two levels lower than previous year, at start of year. And based off of how well you do with them is how they progress. But at the same time the said card would have a ceiling based off of roster updates. When that ceiling is reached then it is collectible. Allowing premium type cards to be rolled out into packs?
For instance lets say i had Aaron Judge started off at highest silver and i progressed him to a 95 Diamond but it was only a 92 required to save him into LS Collection. Once i reached 92 i could choose to collect him. Or maybe he is having a bad year and his overall drops to an 84 and i have progressed him to 83 gold at that point, now only one more level then i can save him b/c roster update is now an 84.
This in turn would make it take longer for people to get the LS collection done so the LS cards would be more useful over time and not have LS Collections done on day 2 of games release. Or could also allow the LS Rewards not be revealed until a later date making competitive gameplay more balanced. This would also give staff more time to do other things and only doing roster update once a month?
Open for more discussion, just a brainstorm.
As someone who isn't a Legend level player, I don't like the suggestion about the live cards because it handicaps anyone who doesn't play at a high level. That's not fair at all.
Actually it doesn't handicap b/c it's based on whether you progress it or not and also based on the updates. And you are still getting better players through program and packs that are better than most LS cards already the way it is now.

I am truly convinced now that you do have a comprhension problem. I will pray for you in hopes you get it figued out! Have a great day!

Nah dude, you are just bad at explaining because even after your second explanation it still sounds like you have to use every single live series card in order to get the collection done the way you are suggesting.

No it doesn't read it again. You consider a 48 common card as one you would have to play to lock it in? Under my explanation?

Its about the dollar. End of brain storm.

And if you don't progress, then what? The way I read it you're being penalized for not being a better player. There's already enough of that in the rewards for BR and Events that lowered skilled players have a tough time getting in the first place.

That's correct! If initial LS card Team rosters come out and it's the same value as the common from year before no progression is neccasary right? You just lock it into collection. So therefore you "Do Not" have to progress every live series card. Which is how you said you interpeted it.

Ok, No penalization for being a worse player that is not even a factor. B/c you can progress your card vs CPU if not comfortable using in H2H. This idea is so we don't see LS collections done within first 2 weeks of game launch.
Ex: When day 1 the game comes out and you have all the Team LS cards to collect to get LS collection rewards right? Ok and Aaron Judge finished with 3 year avg as a 95 ok, Well now on Day 1 of LS collections your Aaron Judge would have to be progressed to a 95 "If" you wanted to lock him in right away.
Now based off of this scenario Aaron Judge pulled out of pack would fall into the 88-89 category ok. Now it is up to player/owner of that card to progress it now to lock it in "OR" do you want to take a chance on him falling lower than than required 95 ovr requirement?
So this is basically leaving it up to you to decide when you want to lock it in and how close to that 95 do you want to progress him. While keeping monthly roster and that players trending LS play into factor.

I think just based off of how confusing the explanation it is it’s a bad idea. Then once you start to understand it then it gets worse.

Just accept it’s a bad idea dude. Seems like no one likes your idea. Nothing wrong with that, people come up with bad ideas all the time. You have to learn when to give up on or adjust your idea.

What about the case where it's still a common, but it's "progressed" from a 59 to a 64?
What about the case where it's "progressed" from a 63 to a 66?
What about rookies just starting out where no progression is possible?
What about cases like Cabrera where the lowered OVR is justified by age and decline of skills?
Your plan is simply unworkable and will only infuriate the user base, which I'm pretty sure is the opposite of what SDS is going for.

Well i think SDS can read what i wrote the fist time and understand it. Whereas i've already answered what you now are asking so i'm not gonna respond with an answer i will just let your ignorance speak for itself.

Yes, you are clearly someone that deserves respect. Also if multiple people on the forum are saying it’s a bad idea and not one person is saying it’s a good idea then why would SDS even look at it twice? Grow up kid. It’s ok to have a bad idea, everyone has them. Not everyone freaks out like a baby when people tell them it’s a bad idea
