How high are these Takashi cards going to climb in value?
-
I have a feeling these cards will drop down some in a week or so after the people who really want Ohtani right away get him. I have 24 in total. I don’t have Wagner,Musial and Johnson and tbh the only one I want of the 3 is Wagner. If these cards don’t drop significantly by next week I’ll just wait til the next program. No biggie.

They'll ALL drop down in price once people see that he won't have OF as a secondary. It's just going to be another pitching only card that will get rocked.

Watching the Willie Mays I brought for 98k Triple in price and wonder will it quadruple
I bought two on Friday or Saturday for 108k and 107k. I sold both for 495k each! So lucky.

Wow. I could've done that, but was saving for Trout.

This is why I flip all year. I can't imagine buying any of these for the prices. 900K for a 96 Stan Musial when there is a 99 available? I get it's all because of the collection. I may pick Walter at the end of BR. But I've got my 26.
I don’t really want Ohtani, but there is still a big collection coming right?
Yep, and it seems pretty intuitive that Ohtani will serve as a voucher like Babe, Jackie, and Mauer

I'm at 25 Takashi cards and don't wanna buy Johnson or Wagner, but the calendar says there is a Takashi legend on 11-9. Am I reading that correctly?

Yes, that appears to be correct, so I guess if you wanted to wait a day you could go that route.
-
It’s why I always save Stubs to buy all bosses. But at the end of the day probably the next program you’ll see a program rewind and all the bosses you didn’t get will be easily accessible

Which Wagner, Honus or Billy? They were both extremely high last I checked. Billy has been going up for a bit though. I picked him from the boss pack.

East way to make stubs grind events I sold degrom and Harris for 1.1 million total lol get them next event. And their are Takashi cards in the rewind packs
-
I'm glad I started preparing for the retro collection after Rollins, only to fall into this by telling myself to buy everyone, in every collection.

Do you keep repeating this as a defense mechanism to make yourself feel better that you won’t be getting Ohtani today?

No. And I could care less if I get Ohtani today, or even at all.

So glad I bagged Wagner when he was 166K, lol. I don't need this Ohtani. It's November. Anyone want a free Wagner? He's not locked in...
I grabbed Wagner in that program knowing he would go up. Bought Delgado and Piazza when one of the programs tanked the market. They will probably have a set 3 for Takashi Cards like the Big Dog packs and may have a program to go with it.

Yeah, I think I bought my Mays Takashi for 93K a few weeks ago and the only reason I did that was because I’m a Giants fan. I really haven’t taken much interest in collecting Takashi carts with the high prices on them. And I’m not sure I need the Ohtani card either. My live series Ohtani has been P5 for a while. I think that’s just fine.

Hey, what do you know. Takashi Ohtani is an SP with NO secondary positions.
-
Only have 24 cards currently. Even if they release another one I'll still have to fork over a small ransom for either Delgado/Piazza/Walter Johnson.
My fault though as I should've picked up Piazza way earlier when that program ended and Delgado dipped to around 65k not too long ago as well which is on me.

[censored], Wagner and Musial almost hit the ceiling.
The Ohtani stats look great, can't wait to get home.
