Moonshot program
-
Play Rockies at Coors Field with directional hitting
-
Play mini seasons games at blank canvas created stadium.
-
HoF homers are easy. Just play at Coors. I hit 5 in one game tonight and should’ve had more. As for HR’s with low power guys, find guys with good swings and pull the ball. Blackmon, Michael Brantley, Lofton, Brujan. It takes time but you’ll get it.

I use one of the high elevation stadiums I built in Stadium Creator. Maybe I should use Coors, though I don't see why there'd be a difference.

There isnt, its the high elevation you want.
Hows it going with the low power guys?
There are quite a few guys supercharged that are under 75 both with over 100 pwr afterbut they end tomorrow. -
You can also try playing with super fast, low power dudes (lofton, Pierre, etc) at Polo Grounds and try to squeeze in a few inside the park HRs. Or try to pull something down the line for a 290’ homer.
I’m an AS lifer and not a very good hitter overall, but I knocked out the 10 HoF homers pretty easily. I thought it was going to be a headache and it really wasn’t nearly as bad as I feared. If you can hit 20 on AS, then you can hit 10 on HoF. You can do it, dude!
(Honestly, getting 5 HRs with Glaus was much more annoying than getting 10 on HoF)

I'm stuck at 77 points. I'm working on getting the Milestone and low power home runs, but the HOF home runs are basically unreachable for me. I don't recall ever hitting one. I'm not a big online player and I haven't have much success in events.
Since there's no exchanges option, how can you advance without HOF homers? I'm hoping some other options will be added.
I never play online and I am pretty bad at this game and swing at everything. The HOF homers weren’t too bad. Took 5 games. If a horrible player like me can do it, I definitely have faith that you can do it

Well, here's an update: Today I played two CPU games, one on All-Star and one on HOF. I won both games (needed extra innings for both). Not only that, I hit homers in both - 4 in HOF, 1 in AS. (I need to fill the quotas in both to get Glaus and Sheffield.) I also played both games at the Polo Grounds, as @SaveFarris_PSN suggested. Not sure if that if that's better than playing a high elevation stadium given the smaller porches on the left and right field sides but at least one home run seems inevitable there. I may try the higher elevation stadium the next time I play.
Anyway, thanks for the suggestions. I think I'm on my way now.

Have you been spying on me, because it sure sounds like you are describing me. Haha. I love the “AS lifer,” this is a classic line right here.
-
Update: Got Troy Glaus today. I think I need 5 HOF homers for Sheffield. Getting there slowly but surely, I think.
again, thanks for all the suggestions. You guys have really lifted up my confidence that I can play better than I thought I could. So thank you all.

Might I suggest loading up your team with Power Hitters and playing a team that doesn't have a great pitching staff/bullpen... I'd even go as far as setting your hitting to directional and just power swing 1-8 and I'd even load up bench with power hitters and pinch hit for your pitcher (9-hole hitter) every time his place in the order comes up... considering you don't have to win the game I'd just do that.

Thought I’d give the “10 homers on HOF” a go. Never played a game on HOF before. Ever.
Play now vs CPU. Chose the A’s with all their noodle bats. Their 5th starter 68 Medina versus a P2 99 greineke. At TwinXP stadium.
My entire team is 99 rated with 125 in just about all hitting categories.
They smacked him around like he was a bronze pitcher. They scored 9 runs on 11 hits. Hit 5 homers.
I won the game in 11 innings 10-9. I hit 5 homers. Struck out 18 times.
Honestly. Not fun. And the game felt very scripted. If I had hit less than 5 homers, I’d be done with HOF. But, halfway there to 10 and finishing the Moonshot program.
Definitely not fun though. I’ll be getting my 10 homers and then I’ll leave HOF difficulty to y’all.

Pirates were easier
-
Thanks. I’ll give them a try next.
-
Try playing in TwinXP Park. Short walls and balls fly.
-
Thanks htowncubsfan. I definitely use that “stadium” in all these type of programs.
I’m hoping one more HOF game against the pirates at twinxp park will do it. Along with 15+ strikeouts!

Exactly. This was actually pretty easy. I had 5 in one game on HOF at Coors.

Someone else said to use players with high contact and vision. 100+ for a bigger PCI. I'm pretty bad. I ultimately switched to timing and got HOF done in 3 games.
-
I did it in like 2 games…I think I used Lou Brock, Lofton and I forget who else at Polo Grounds. Brock actually hit it out in right field. I had 3 HRs in 1 game. You can do it.
-
Use Prime Ray Durham in Polo Grounds. He hit it into the gaps like crazy for me, which with his speed meant inside the parkers.
