Personally, I think the only “cheating” Yordan did was looking at their previous matchup on the iPad.
I think my point was that it makes a lot more sense to just credit the opponent when they succeed, instead of looking for excuses.
All of Toronto seems to be in denial of their team’s shortcomings.
Similarly, a lot of Mariners fans are already calling for Scott Servais’ job, which is absolutely ridiculous.
They pitched Ray out of the pen because they had already decided he was not going to get a start vs Houston (based on his season numbers against them).
It kinda makes sense. These are the arms you have available.
SOMEbody has to be able to get Yordan out if they want to beat Houston.
lol all of toronto in denial? what are you talking about? we have an incredible team year in and year out - one of the best teams in the MLB with a great history - we need more canadian teams as there are tons of trash USA teams
-
And to think the Dodgers traded Yordan to the Astros for Josh Fields. Josh who???????LMAO
-
Just leave the Yordster supercharged for the rest of the postseason

Yeah, dude goes oppo 371’ with 98 well off the plate. Tip your 🧢.
Maybe the 378’ wall in Left Center at T-Mobile will help on Saturday? -

Alvarez has carried the Astros in this series. Altuve is 0-7 with a walk, Bregman is 2-7 with 2 RBI's, if not for Alvarez the Mariners might actually have a 2-0 lead.

Agreed. The future is bright for M’s fans. I love how they played yesterday! I can’t see anything they could have done differently, really. Sometimes the ball doesn’t bounce your way.
After the strike three call to Cal with bases loaded, and JP lining into a dp in the 9th, it seemed clear the baseball gods were not going to let the M’s win.

Not trying to be a smart azz but was that Ty France who swung at a 58' curveball to end the game? He was totally fooled whoever that was.

I think so?
Here’s pitching ninja’s overlay of the slider and curveball. Apparently the spin rate of the deuce was in the 3800’s.

What a great baseball moment. This is why baseball is the best game!
As a Ranger fan, even the Bautista bat flip homer didn't bother me because it was such a awesome baseball moment. I would've bat flipped it twenty rows deep into the stands.. did lead to one of the greatest baseball punches thrown though.
That was a great moment from the Astros for sure! -
No sour grapes intended, but these umpire scorecards all have some things in common.
