My favorite LOTF was Brad Pitt. Although, Karina Lombard is super hot.

Hank is easily the best LOTF card and possible the best card in the game. From there it is all about what you are looking for and if you like their swing.

Rickey might be 2nd best with power and speed combo, only issue is he is an OF so trying to get him in the lineup with all the others is tough.
Posada- started slow but has come on in this event. might be the best hitting catcher in the game.
Wade Boggs- yeah I know but his swing is amazing and he just does not miss when swinging. He has been my go to pinch hitter.

    Honorable mentions:
Prince: he either hits a bomb or nothing, I'm just not a fan of his swing. If I need a lefty 1st baseman I'm going with Brett or Lou maybe even Boggs
Durham- nice bat be he has made some errors for me at 2nd base that cost me games. Might as well start some guy out of position with a better bat.
Finley and Green- both solid hitting lefties, just hard to fit in with so many OF, same can be said with Gwynn
Dawson and Hunter- again solid all around guys just hard to get them in the lineup.
Pudge- defensively amazing and has good pop and speed for a catcher. I go back and forth on him and Posada.
Sandberg and Joe have not seen any playing time but I'm going to try to work them in. Problem is tons of guys have 2nd secondary (Hank, Mookie, even Posada LOL) and you can even use out of positions guys at 2nd and not get burnt too bad.

Morgan McCovey Durham Aaron Pudge Posada have all been great for me. With all the secondary positions these guys play it’s tough to make a lineup there are so many tons of good legends

    1. Posada
    2. Helton
    3. Bay
    4. Boggs
    5. Burnett/Oswalt

I also like Aaron and Finley, just not as much as the community.

    Boggs
    Ricky
    Posada
    Aaron
    Green

I haven’t used any pitchers yet and there’s still a bunch of others I haven’t really had the desire to try, but they are all legit cards. It really comes down to preference, who’s swing you like, team needs etc.

Is this where I’m supposed to say Hank Aaron is the best card? I wish I could. His stats say he’s one of the best cards in the game. I just can’t get it going with him. I’m not terrible with him but he seems to be late on everything. Everything is opposite field and I know he’s a push hitter but I shouldn’t be late on pitches.

The cards I do like a lot are
    Steve Finley 🤯
    Jorge Posada
    Ray Durham
    Wade Boggs

I’m surprised no one has mentioned Edgar Martinez. I haven’t used him much but in small sample size he’s legit.

There’s a few that have big huge let downs that I’ve seen on peoples list. I won’t say who because it’s not important. We like who we like and use who works for us.

He actually won the Showdown for me last night with a walk off HR against Cy Young

I use Morgan and McCovey every year because I know their swings. I assume you may be referring to them but for me I crush with them👍

No. I actually like McCoveys swing a lot. I think he’s a bit underrated tbh. Joe Morgan on the other hand I really wanted to like but I just think he’s not even as close to as good as he was last year.

I’m fine for everyone to sleep on Edgar. Maybe it’s because the M’s are not sexy, but hot [censored], this card rakes.

Yep, he sure does. I've been messing with my rosters a lot with all the new cards and he is definitely in my 3rd base rotation.

For my AL West squad, he pushes monthly Bregman to the bench. Somehow, when you go opposite field with Edgar, it doesn't feel like you're late, he's launching the ball anywhere he wants.

@MRAD2010_XBL good call. When I posted this I forgot about him. He's a beast.

Since starting this thread I've utilized a few others that I'm really digging. AJ Burnett is fantastic, 114 H/9 and touches 100.

Had a lot of fun with McCovey in my lefty/tall guy lineup.

Honestly, Ozzie is my slowest starter but I haven't given him much of a chance.

I think we should talk about Steve Finley. Good Golly. I know it’s the tiniest of sample sizes, but I just threw him into the leadoff spot as I climb out of Spring Training in ranked. The guy went 2/2 with a pair of perfect no doubt bombs to deep right.

He will be staying in the leadoff spot.

Prince Fielder is my favorite 1B. I am raking with him and his small strike zone. I also killed with his first card.

Rickey Henderson was my LF until Pujols dropped. Now he is my pinch runner / defensive replacement.

    How is Pujols in left?

He's about the same as Chipper

    So not great?
I was trying to get Prince into the lineup, but maybe he can just come off the bench.

NGL, Edgar and Albert hitting 3/4 seems unfair!

I've only seen him mentioned once, but Helton has been great for me. In his first game he went 5/5 with 5 HR's. His swing is smooth. Granted it was offline on AS, but he still raked.

I used Helton in a BR run. Won 6 games, which is pretty good for me.
Definitely a good card, although I went with Finley from that pack and he has been dynamite.
