Low Power Hitter Homerun Question
-
For the Moonshot program one of the missions is to hit HR's with batters who have less than 75 power. Does anyone know if this needs to be from both sides? Like if a player has 74 power vs. right but 80 power vs left does it count? Does he have to be facing a righty for it to count?

I wondered the same but honestly, didn’t care to test it. I put in guys that were below on both sides. The other thing was, with some guys paralleled, they ended up over the threshold, so I didn’t run them either.

This is one reason I decided to play the event so I could get enough win to skip this mission

Yadier Molina - Milestone/Jason Kendall - Finest / Joe Mauer - Cover collection reward
Shane Victorino - Finest
Jeff McNeill - POTM (plays well above his atributes) /brock holt - Milestone
Ken Griffey Sr - Finest (actually a home run machine)
Luis Arraez - All Star
Ozzie Smith - LOTF (this card is bonkers from both sides of the plate)/ Luis Aparcio - Finest
Brett Batty - Future Stars
Ke'bryan Hayes - Future Stars
Andrew Benentendi - All Star
Corbin Carrol - Future Stars
Tony Gwyn - LOTF
Rod Carew - Prime
Jason Heyward - Finest
Andres Gimenez - All Star
Juan Pierre - FinestYou only have to hit 5 Home Runs, you can also build up a team of light hitting speedsters (IE Juan Pierre) and play at Polo Grounds and aim for the bullpens.
For it to count you have to be using their weak side, for instance Ozzy Smith vs right handed pitching (the card rips on both sides of the plate)
-
Also wondering if parallel and/or supercharging makes a card ineligible, or if it’s just about their base attribute level?
EDIT: Carew hits tanks like the hulk.
-
Polo grounds is a low power speedster paradise. Inside the park home runs all day.
-
I got a couple with MA Berti who is such an underrated card.

It only counts for base stats and yes needs to be below from both sides. I used JT Realmuto Live Series while he was supercharged and worked fine so would just wait for next supercharged guy. Kolten Wong also qualified yesterday but not sure if he’s still supercharged or not.

Yes! Especially against lefties.

Your CAP player counts as well. I noticed I got 3 HRs counted and I have no one lower than that except my CAP who shows up as only 50 power but really had 125 power in game against both sides.
-
Live series supercharged cards are the best to use. Got the 5 homers with Realmuto alone.
-
This has me confused cause i hit 4 with supercharged LS pujols vs right where he has 60s pwr and it only counted for the old guys homers.
-
In two games, I have 3x HR with Carew. So that may be an option!

Cause he's higher than 75 vs. Lefties? Would be my Guess. I hit one with RF Jason Kendall and it didn't count and I could have sworn it was off a righty who he has like 70 power against but higher than 75 against lefties. Thought maybe I actually hit it off of a lefty, but if it's against both sides needing to be under 75 this would stand.
-
It has to be Below 75 power vs. both. I hit multiple homers with Kendall vs a righty and they didn't count towards that mission. I ended up using supercharged Realmuto and Vierling
-
Wait for a low power guy to get supercharged. Play on rookie.
Or I like the low power speed guys hitting at Polo grounds. Also an idea.
Or created stadium with McNeil.
Options.

I completed this with Monthly Award Jeff McNeil has 125 vision and a nice left handed swing.
