Oh great guys….now you’ve likely run him off as he sensed your sarcasm and condescension and he’s going to keep his secrets to himself.
You’ll have to go about it the hard nosed way of getting hits and then scoring more runs than the CPU.
Or go my way: complete all moments, P5 wood, beat conquest, then play out the balance of points…..because showdown extreme is miserable.
Great how will I ever beat the show down without cheesing it? How I ask how!!!!
-
Well I just got Donaldson on Saturday the old fashion way, I earned it through the 3 point 25K PXP missions. Don't need no stinking Extreme Showdown now. LOL
-
Here’s the secret, turn on batting tutorial under options and start the showdown. Then after each boss you can reset the tutorial at bats again quickly by going into a vs. cpu game in Diamond dynasty and once the game starts, just instant quit the cpu game and it’ll auto reset the tutorial. So that means you can get 5 cheesy meatball pitches each boss, just like it is when using this method for a normal moment. Rinse and repeat.

Anyone having trouble with the showdown extreme at the moment? Let me know and I hope I can give you a motivational kick to finish it much easier and stress free. Still gotta try hard but that’s all I’ll say. Message me to learn the tricks of the trade
It's impossible for me ugh

I'm all out of goats to sacrifice, can I still receive the secret knowledge?
In some cultures a sheep is an acceptable substitute

Then why not give it away for free to everyone on here instead of begging for a DM? There are probably a dozen youtubes out there with tips. Do you have something different? I also suck at the game and I'm undisciplined at the plate, can you help with that?
Well to cover myself and the players, if I say it to the public here then there’s a chance sds could try and fix any issue or problem (btw sds, there’s no issue or anything wrong with the game or code) I just stumbled upon a strategy that is completely op, just It’s hard explain. That’s why dm is easier. And you don’t have to worry about any bad discipline at the plate, once you know what i know, you don’t have to stress as much lol idk I’ve been up all night and I’m just rambling at this point
If you can explain it in DM (typing) you can also explain it in a thread (also typing). Copy and paste works wonders! I eagerly await your hidden knowledge!
Typing in a dm is private and better, but typing it here could have led to the fix or something else. I posted it already on this thread. I appreciate your sarcasm.

Will you also throw in a set of steak knives??
Yeah if you respond with another sarcastic comment, Ill throw in a set of 5 forks and spoons made from the greatest European metal the world has ever seen!

Sarcasm is not a renewable resource, sir. I’m not wasting it on forks and spoons. What else you got?
-
Lol I got tons and tons of stuff, what ya need?

That method has been around for a long time. I don't think they are capable of/interested in patching it.

I know it has for moments but I’ve never had it happen for showdown in the past years with tutorials even so that’s weird

That's a good point. Now that I think about it, not sure if that was a moments thing or a showdown thing or both. Either way, it's a good trick to share from time to time for people who don't know about it. Kind of like the dashboarding in multi game moments. Just a good thing to know. -

-
How to steal almost 100% of the time?
-
Have a runner with 70 speed at the lowest (or a little lower) but I use ppl with 75 speed and when you’re on first base wait until the pitcher starts to check on you, and at that time old R2 and hit L1 at the same time, release L1 and while holding down R2 tap the steal L2 and release everything

Ok, now…….what’s your secret to me correcting my timing and vision enough to actually even hit the meatball?!!?! You figure THAT out, and I’ll subscribe to your voodoo magic sir.
Point being: simply getting 5 meatballs to start doesn’t really move the needle for people struggling, they could square them up and line out (clearly to the 1st baseman), then be back to where they were. It’s not like they’re automatic runs….the secret is to be patient, be good, and get a little lucky.

I had an empty house the other night…wife kids dog were all out of town… opportune time to try extreme. After about 3 tries I finally made it to Nolan Ryan, the farthest I I’d ever made it to. Long story short, my undisciplined hitting tendencies got the best of me and I failed misery. I’ll be P5-ing Wood and replaying for stats, I’m not going through that again.
