Can't wait for 99 lightning Drew Ramussen, I root for chaos
You would use him as often as everyone else. Zero. Hey, would make it easy to cash in on those potm cards and Topps now cards since we wouldn't want to keep them for the lighting player.

Unfortunately I have a sickness called collecting, so even though I would never use the card or the potm and topps now associated with it, I would still need them

Players Of The Month
NL - Nolan Arenado
AL - Alex BregmanPitchers of Month
NL - Zach Gallen
AL - Drew RasmussenRelievers of the Month
NL - Edwin Diaz
AL - Emmanuel ClaseLet the lightning speculation begin in earnest.
You forgot Goldy?
-
I am leaning towards Arenado for this month.
It makes sense now that it's 99 overall, allows for Goldy to be the finest player and Rockies fans have a version of him for team builds that is usable to some extent
Bergman could easily get it as well but his 2019 finest card feel like it would be a better option for his 99
-
Nado for President. Amd Lightning thief bearer or something like that.

nolans swing is horrid. wont be better than riley, brett, donaldson or chipper

He’d have better attributes against righties if he gets a card in this program. I think the ‘19 card was great against lefties and [censored] against rhp

George Kirby is the AL Rookie of the Month for August!
I hope he gets a POTM card in the program.

Question. Who says it has to be?
At this stage, when 99s are getting released very often, not every card is going to always overshadow what came before. Sometimes they will be an option. Sometimes they just might make sense for theme teams.
I am not a collector. I go after all the best Cardinal cards and then some of the legends I like, such as Gehrig this month. I play offline so I don't need to keep up with all of the online players with the meta cards. I use the cards I enjoy using.
-
I don't hit well with Arenado, but I'd take him on the Mets any day. If he wins, so be it. I'll still try to use him.
I would love to see a reliever win. Maybe Diaz with trumpets instead of lightning on the card? -

McNeil I always have fun with. Too

I know he recently got the all star card but Edwin Diaz deserves a maxed out 99 at this point. Doubt very highly it will be him but the dude is on fire.

He is, but he isn't good to use in game. Has no pitches and is so easy to hit his fb. Which honestly idc too much about. But they are most likely gonna give the lighting card to a player that has "meta" type stuff for h2h play, so more people will want it.

Thank you. I will.

Is George Kirby getting a card?
-
Either Gallen or Rasmussen would be great choices as we really need a lightning pitcher this month. Leaning towards Gallen since he didn’t get his diamond LS card as expected this week.

Not sure but me thinks this is a Friends reference and if so I approve

I know he won't get one but Nate Lowe has had a very good month for the Rangers and I don't know about anyone else but since his Finest card last year opened my eyes to his swing. I almost have his LS card to PV so I'm hoping for another one.

I was at a game a week or two ago and saw Nate Lowe hit an insane HR. I think the scoreboard said it was like 458’ or something. MLB:TS has desensitized us to home runs. Seeing one travel like that in person was pretty special.
He hit another 450’ shot against the white Sox a couple weeks earlier but we’re not going to talk about that.
