Zero consistency in ratings and rosters

Tell me how spencer strider jumps 3 points, yet framber valdez isn’t even touched and has been mostly ignored all season? At this point Valdez is getting votes for a cy young , has set records for most consecutive quality starts, and at this point in the season (1 sept) is outperforming strider! Yet spender strider is an 87 and Valdez is a 79? How inconsistent are these people who makes these changes?
Also, why aren’t any of these roster changes shown during march to October? They’re all the beginning for he season rosters and ratings . This game has been a major disappointment

March to october doesnt get updated.except for the year the game came out 2 weeks before opening day, it never has.

I mean what? strider should be 87....and who cares its a live series a player no one uses. Id love to see how he is "out performing" strider...in what? wins? he has 8 more starts....look at Ks ERA and Whip then get at me
-
plus you have to understand how they rate players....they are rated on Whip, (control and hits per 9) and velocity and k/9.....strider has those in spades
-
Valdez is a contact pitcher. He's not going to get huge upgrades when he is just slightly above league average in the two stats that matter for updates(H and K/9)

Maybe Strider is getting a little championship boost if you know what I mean.

I could care less about either player. However, It would be nice to see SDS's criteria for giving upgrades and down grades. Are they using specific stats or metrics or do they just go by the "eye test". There are some times I think guys will go up in ratings or stay the same but they get down graded.

Adam Wainwright, last year, came in 7th in NL CY Young Voting and spent the entire season as a silver for the same reason a Valdez, low strikeout totals.
Guys who pitch to contact or induce soft contact are penalized by the rating system for pitchers. Unfortunately it has been that way for a long time.

I mean it is pretty obvious on some.
H/9, HR/9, SO/9, BB/9 - those all correlate directly to stats kept for pitchers.
I am not saying SDS is not above fudging some numbers but for the most part pitcher ratings are pretty transparent. Valdez has a very low k/9 rating. He is striking out 8.2 batters per 9 this season. Strider has a high k/9 rating. He is striking out 13.7 per 9 innings.
Pitchers are easier, in my opinion, to figure out than hitters because you don't have to worry about lefty/righty splits for pitchers.

Biggest Valdez crimes are...
His pitch attribute ratings are aweful. SDS has done him dirty. Same for Max Scherzer's slider.
When Framber got a TN card for the QS streak, they gave another Yankee card... SMH at Luis who buffed his Yankee theme team this August.
BTW, I'm buying enough Frambers to get banned for market manipulation.

Pitchers are an extreme amount easier for the reasons to described. With hitters, you can still predict contact, vision, discipline ratings decent enough but its never been exactly clear what stats correlate to power and clutch
