Another content drop and the team with the least amount of flashback and legend cards do not get a card. We have not gotten any brewers cards since the All-star program on July 18th when every team got one.
We are the only team that has not had a legend card released since the launch of the game, c'mon now. Yet the four retired numbers for the franchise are all legends in this game... (the A's Fingers is a nice card). Those would be Fingers, Molitor, Yount, and Aaron.
Prince Fielder was a fun new legend last year, and yet Kevin Youkilis (new legend this year) has twice as many Red Sox cards and Fielder has gotten Brewers cards in 2 years (the same All-star version both years).
Isn’t that breakout Yelich a Brewer?, I agree they haven’t put out many Brewers cards though.
It is, and still is in my lineup! That came out in early May though; same with the only Topps now cards we have gotten. Of course, we don't have a monthly awards cards this year either.
We have had 2 cards released since May that are not part of a program every team gets one, those are Freddy Peralta and Aaron Ashby, both pitchers.

I like the Urias MS card, when was that released?

That was part of the All-star program, where every team had a henchman and all-star card. I am strictly speaking when they actually need to pick a team. And the Peralta was the City connect reward. Maybe Hiura flashback FS was part of a program in June though.
Sorry about complaining I just hope it gets SDS attention a little bit.

Naw it’s alright man, I hope they release some more or at least some upgrades for the current ones, I am sure Prince, Yelich and Yount will get upgrades.

I was thinking about doing another tally of cards to see where all the teams are at.
I noticed the Yankees got 2 more cards today.
And no, this is not about the Cardinals as we have been lucky the last few weeks with cards. But it does seem like some teams are getting hosed pretty badly, and the Brewers are one of them.
I just checked legends and flashbacks and the top team is obviously the Yankees
- Yankees - 47
- Phillies - 37
...
24 teams who have between 20 and 30 cards
...
Rangers - 19
Rays - 18
Royals - 17
Brewers - 17
A 30 card gap between the first and last teams seems huge to me. And we all know that there are probably still a slew of 99 Yankees yet to come.
I would hope that if any of those bottom four teams have a shot at a POTM or Topps Now that they would be the most likely to get them. Looking at the leaderboards for Aug though only Drew Rasmussen for the Rays looks like a possibility

Some team is always going to be neglected in a certain year

Probably going to get a Molitor brewers card alongside upgrades for Yelich, Prince and Yount I would think.
P.s. I hit my upvote limit

I know, but just annoying how we didn't get a shortstop version of Robin Yount until October last year and still don't have one this year, yet some people who have never played a game in MLB have multiple cards... yount is one of the best SS ever and has the most games played by a teenager in MLB history that will never be broken. SDS has to respect history a little more.

I’m holding out hope that axford gets an upgraded card. I mean Kevin youkilis has enough in his first year.

There's a Lorenzo Cain, you can at least pretend.

Maybe next program? They gave the Rangers and Royals cards this cycle and they were in the basement with the Brewers as far as number of cards.
-
Just go watch Wayne’s World again.
-
Would love to see more Brewers players in the game, but I get it - one of the smallest, if not the smallest market in the league and not much success outside of three five-year runs in 53 years. Only older fans will care or even know about players from the Harvey Wallbanger days outside of Yount & Molitor.

Ryan Braun's cards were always great for me....

I was always pumped to use them myself.

I haven't played MLB the show in years but I've been wondering for awhile, is every year as heavy with current/former Yankees players as this one?
Like the last content drop, Extreme Program, consisted of....
Mantle - Yankee Card
Wood -Former Yankee
Chapman - Current Yankee
Cano - Yankee Card
Donaldson - Current YankeeThen new Program drops and 1 of the 3 bosses are Yankee Cards. Definitely plenty of former Brewers or other teams that deserve some cards too. I honestly figured the challenge "Devs God Squad" was going to be 10x maxed stat Derek Jeters.
-
Weekly Brewerless content drop reminder.
-
I apologize in advance.
If the Brewers got as many cards as they have dropped games in the division since the all-star break, they might rival the Yankees in MLBTS
