Yup. I don't get the selectivity of SDS when it comes to players who juiced. Some are ok but others aren't? Where do they draw the line?

My main poin was, it’s not like there is a shortage options of players to select… They could’ve done a retro finest Trea Turner and it would be fine, I’m not sure why we needed Robby Cano… I’m sure he’s good, his HRD card was back in the day… I know people will use him, but it just seems like an odd choice to me, to use a multiple PED user as their extreme reward. I’m not a morality guy, but I think they could’ve done better.

Playing a video game doesn;t imply endorsement of an immoral act, it just means someone wants to enjoy a video game. If you want to discriminate against certain cards, have at it, but no need to be a Nazi Moral Police and try to ruin a video game for every one else!

It is randomly selective with them. 99 Cano is okay, but what about a 99 Tatis? Too hot I'm assuming.

I bet part of the "extreme" way he will be unlocked is that we will have to play 162 full 9 inning games with his teammates before we can use him.
That will be the daily moment..on this day back in whatever year it was Robby Cano got suspended for 162 games for accidentally ingesting anabolic steroids a second time. What if Robby wasn’t a randomly placed anabolic steroid magnet and played that whole 162 game slate? Play 162 games for the Mets while batting .196 and hitting 4 home runs

Yep good read, that is accurate.
I'm just trying to stay interested in this Dodgers game, which is tough considering backup position players are throwing 39 mph change-ups at the top of the zone every other pitch. SMH

I think the point isn’t so much that Cano used ‘roids and is being highlighted, but all the people the game has left off because of their controversial pasts. I won’t give my opinion on who should and shouldn’t be included cuz you are ganna get a Karen barking at you regardless of the stance.
Here’s the deal. Big Papi tested positive. He has a program and a dang nice card.
Cano got popped twice and is getting a nice card, even with the stats pretty equivalent to Harold Baines. Who I appreciate.
Avoiding players like Sosa, Arod, McGuire, Bonds,Palmerio, Clemens and more yet adding Cano seems like a double standard.
Sure it’s a game, but if the game creators are ganna make a stance, they should stick to it and not pick and choose. -
You’re assuming those players would want to be in the game. We have zero way of knowing who they have and haven’t attempted to get in the game. Just because they cheated doesn’t mean they want to make easy money.
