SDS released the best they could do in the summer of 2018. The fandom at large said NEVER AGAIN.

If it was an awards or signature, then it would be an L. Retro finests are extremely juiced cards though

Out of all the players to choose from. Griff, Pedro, Mantle etc. They picked an average player with no appeal.

It’s going to be a great card, it’s just the timing. They drop Brett at the same time as the Devers card. Lol they drop Cutch 2 weeks after the Soto and JRod card. To me what this game needed was a lock down SP. again the card will be great, but with JRod and Soto I’m not running out to finish the collection day 1

Not very excited. They keep pushing his cards yearly but I never do much w them.

Let me see the stats before I pass judgement. His swing is good but his cover card had some wonky splits. Should be a decent card for a month or so but going to be hard to justify the cost. As other have said we just got some juiced AS and Derby cards. Plus we have not seen an upgrade Griff, Mantle, Trout or Acuna.

His Cover Athlete card raked for me. Played well above the ratings. Plus I was a huge Cutch fan during his prime. Probably not going to get him and doesn’t compare to the Mookie last year as far as how good they are/were IRL but I think it’s still a cool card.

The card is fine, Will probably be the Mookie Betts of this year…The problem is his dreads. It’s not fair to xbox players to not be able to use him.

How do you know what his attributes will be? Lol you guys are complaining about the card without even knowing what the card entails

That's the gameplan. These shouldn't be obtainable Day 1.

Why would SDS release a card that wouldn't be attainable? That makes absolutely zero sense! You expect them to just dangle a card in front of everybody and make it unattainable?

I don’t, I made no allusion to his attributes. I’m also not complaining, merely postulating that he is not as significant/popular a player as the larger fan base would prefer…..in that, assuming people will not be chasing him as actively card prices for the collection will actually drop before the release.

If he’s cracked and has insane attributes why wouldn’t people chase him? That’s what I’m alluding to. That’s like saying he may have the best attributes in the game so far but no one will want him because his name isn’t Griffey or Mantle and that’s not how it works.
If the attributes are insane(which they will be bc umm he’s a collection) people will use him
All these content creators will be using him- this thread makes no sense is basically what I’m saying
