Anyone else have an obsession with collecting every card?

I mean kinda sorta. My goal is to no money spent collect the live series and do all the collections. So I don't really care about having all the cards in that sense, but I need most of them.

Not really. Just have fun with what I got.
Last year I cared but burnt out by the end.
Just taking it as it comes this year.

Maybe not every card but I have to have all collections full even the stupid ones like stadium sounds and celebrations.

I need all the flashbacks and legends if I’m going to P1 them all.

Which makes the idea of doing this next year for the third year in a row...not appealing.

That's always my goal too. This year I've lucked out with 3 Trouts, 5 Acunas, and lots others. LS done real early, and those extra Trouts allowed me to stock up on pretty much everything else. I don't know if I'd still be playing this game if my pulls weren't what they were -- I'm an RPG guy first, so tasks and collections.

Oh I know that. have played this game long enough to know there are other "big collections" coming. That's also why I hoard every card.

That's exactly me. I am what you'd call and "older" gamer. In my 50's and still gaming. My son is young and loves it! But when I was younger nut old enough that I had to work and couldn't play ball as much IRL, I found ROPGs like D&D, King's Quest, etc were awesome. Tried to get every item, weapon, piece of armor...so that's what leads me to be a collector in games like The Show

Hey OP, fellow collector here. For some reason I only care about the legends and flashbacks. I finished the LS but now I have no interest in collecting the random commons that are added. Once the LS is done, it is dead to me haha. Same with equipment, perks, unlockables etc. Once I complete those to lock them in, I'm done.
But...the legends and flashbacks are a different story. I must have them all. Last year I started late and bacause of that, I could never get Alomar. 1 card short. Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!
Anyway, you can put a buy order in and it'll get filled fairly quickly for the bronzes and Silvers. Just keep checking back. If you stay on top of it, you will be able to collect every card.
Except FOR ALOMAR!!!!!!
And that Alomar was an awesome card, sorry you missed out ojn him, but I so hope you get all the collection "big" cards this year!

By the time I'm done with the current BR and event paths I will only be missing Delgado, Pujols, Whichever of Longoria/Springer I don't choose and JR Richard. Until Friday's drop that is

Well, I'm 48 so we're cut from the same cloth. King's Quest was the bomb! I remember trying to figure out some path you had to walk over a whale's tongue or something, and there were no clues. Also, insert floppy disk 8 to continue...lol. Good times.
I pulled 2 Trouts last week and just pulled a Tatis yesterday while also completing BR. I am ashamed to say I currently have every Legend/Flashback card in the game, thanks largely to ridiculous pulls.
And yes, to everyone, I do touch grass. I actually go on a 5 mile walk/run every day.

I appreciate your hustle, but would collecting physical cards from real packs be more rewarding?
All ultimate team modes are just trading card games, like magic or pokemon, so I am more obsessed with having the full set if a physical collection.But that's much more expensive I suppose
