No big tips, but I will say that over the past month or so I have really noticed how much the connection/lag really can impact things and it can be hard to notice. It also can often be from your opponents connection not your own. Not taking pitches, control issues on the mound and never squaring up the PCI when hitting are big indicators for me that it is a connection issue.

My best tip is take a break. I feel like my patience and vision goes down the tank if I’m playing a lot in a short span. I usually play a lot better when I take at least a day or 2 off.

Stop swinging. Let your opponent strike you out looking. Its better than a 2 pitch weak ground out. He will be throwing you BP fast balls by the 3rd inning! While he is pitching be sure to track the ball with your pci but don't swing. Pay attention to what he feels comfortable throwing for strikes. Sit on that pitch then load n explode!!!

    Works great for me!

Was going to post something like this. I'm lucky I'm winning in ranked seasons but I'm struggling big time.

I spent a weekor two grinding my rtts player and followed the suggested grind of changing pitchers to 1 overall and putting it on rookie. Super slow 84 mph fastballs right down the middle for 20 hours or so. Then went back into DD and now all of a sudden, 500/600 ranked fastballs that are going 95 mph are a blur and I'm swinging once the catcher has it in his glove.

I used to put up 10+ runs in those ranked ratings and now I can't hit. Have no clue how long it will last but hopefully I adjust soon. Don't know if it was worth grinding to get a created player.

    Go to custom practice
But before that go to settings and set the sliders for fastballs and sinkers ALL the way up. Do that for 20-30 minutes before you play
Then those Johnson heaters will look like Wiffle balls

THIS…Go play Halo, COD, ect and don’t touch the show for a few days. The SDS algorithm doesn’t like when you do this and you will come back to a host of cupcakes waiting for you.

I was wondering if anyone was gonna reference Gracie's "Slumpbuster" method! Basically he said if the team is a wreck somebody has to bed a very undesirable woman and that will help break the team out of their funk. Also known as "jumping on a grenade for the boys".

That being said I think to complete this analogy maybe play 3 or 4 hours of RBI 15 and see if that is enough of a slumpbuster to get you back on the good foot.

    1. Take a break
    2. Change your PCI
    3. Shuffle your lineup
    4. Try a new player(s)

This game is truly something else. The last 3 days I can't see the ball at all and I cant pitch to save my life.

I dont know if my Internet has gotten worse or maybe I have declined that much is such a short span of time.

Any tips to get out of this funk?

Slump Busting…google it read Mark Graces piece on it 🙂

I tried this once. Now I am in a loveless marriage with two troll children. Still haven't made WS.

I’m not a big ranked player myself, but I do grind events and BR, that said, I usually start with a couple of mini seasons games on All Star or HOF before heading online, you face cards you’re likely to face with no pressure. Great way to gauge where you’re at.
