Have we ever had a great Todd Helton card?
-
Last years awards Helton was awesome, he just plays 1B so no one used him
-
Yeah they tend to still drop his best card late in the year
-
He has had some decent cards but usually we get 20 plus good first basemen or OFs with 1b eligibility. Hard to make a Helton card that would be better than Ruth, Gehrig or even some more modern guys like Papi. I'm not saying Helton should not have a great card I just think SDS would see him as not a sexy pick compared to some other big names.

His card last year was a great card.

His 99 was great. Even his 91 this year is underrated.

This. It was early from what I recall

If nothing else, Helton will always have the distinction of being the first-ever Prestige card.
-
It’s hard, because only 1 first baseman can play.

Agreed, I loved that awards card. Like you said, he's just at a position where there are so many other good cards he gets lost in the mix. Same with Joey Votto, Jason Giambi and several others.

They should do a card for his 2000 season (not sure what year based card he’s had) Was robbed of mvp bc of playing at coors and finished 5th in voting even tho he led the NL in most major stats.
