Do they ever bring Mcgwire into the game? Still the GOAT at HR per AB.
I don’t know of any GOATs that have a steroid diet.

Not justifying his steroid use but he hit 49 HR his rookie year clean.

You just don't know any cool goats. Next time we're at the petting zoo together I'll introduce you to some goats who will sell you some stuff that will change your life.
EDIT: it's mostly just hay and goat feces, but I enjoy the simple things.

49 HR isn’t going to top the HR per AB rankings. Let’s keep the goal posts where they were.

An obscure one but Aaron Hill, he was in 2018 and only got an 81 gold as a Jay, now with different style cards he could get a nice Diamond to use
Good call here. There was a year he was the collection reward for the Jays and that card raked. Stephen Drew was another sleeper card as well as Allen Craig!

Ty Cobb, Ted Williams, David Wright, Carlos Beltran, Phil Neikro.
Great choices

Hanley, Cargo, Cano, and Reyes are cards that played well for me and had excellent swings. Cobb, Williams, and Hornsby are also cards I would like to see come back.
Cano will never be back - Steroids'
-
Ty Cobb, Ichiro and Steve Garvey
-
There's another thread about it already, but I hope they add Doc and Darryl

For me, I really miss Hanley Ramirez and Carlos Beltran.
I almost always had that Impact Veteran Hanley or his Sig Series in my lineup or at least on my bench. He was always so clutch for me. His numbers would never be insane or anything but he came up with so many timely hits -- just such a fun card to use I remember. He's someone who immediately stands out for me.
I think the last time we had Beltran in the game was The Show 17, if I'm not mistaken and SDS released a Post-Season series card of his in the Ticket Store (the OGs will remember the Ticket Store) that was a 99 overall. I remember seeing it in just about everyone's lineup and he was often cited as the best hitter in the game and it was a pretty universally agreed upon.
Anyone else you guys have fond memories of that is no longer in the game?
Cobb

That Beltran card was so ridiculously great. I remember he was like 15,000 tickets and people were freaking out about that.

Dwight Evans. Such a great push hitter. This time they need to give him his mid 80's toe stance
