If he's on the IL, it gives SDS the perfect reason to freeze his ratings.
I've only done DD the last two years, so I was in fact wondering if SDS would dare be objective with his ratings since he's the game's legendary item every year. Too bad he got injured -- IRL first and foremost, of course, but much less importantly to see if SDS would have done the unthinkable. Then I suppose Judge would become the new Trout...?

Ratings are (supposedly) based on a 3-year average. So a 0-26 streak from Trout should only be a drop in the bucket of how his card is rated. Frankly, they should just keep him where he is because they downgraded him a few weeks ago when he was still hitting really well, so this just balances out the variance.

The 3-year average is a joke at this point. They've been comically aggressive with adjustments this year.

I've noticed a lot of people on Reddit lately saying that they've pulled Trout from a free pack, myself included.
Obviously he's in a slump irl, and has been downgraded already.
With the influx of new Trouts and an incoming rating drop his price could tank hard.
Any market experts have any advice? When I pulled him I immediately bought the AL and locked it in. Maybe that was a bad idea.
Just because tons of people 'supposedly' pulled him doesn't meant that they will sell him. Nor does it mean his price will drop.
The only two/three things that will make his price drop, and if it does drop it won't be by alot, is
1: A half off pack sale
2: A guaranteed 90+ LS Pack added to the program reward path

Price already has dropped a little bit. But remember last year when they issued the Trump 99 card, his live series card really tumbled. So if they issue a 99 Trump this year again, I think you’ll see a huge drop.

And to correct the statement you quoted, his card was never near 1 million. It was around 150,000, I believe. Because as I recall that’s what I paid for it. His Trump 99 card with a million for a long time. I believe the Trey Turner 99 card is still at 1 million. The Trump 99 card is now around 400,000 stubs.
