Oh for sure. But it is a bit annoying, I had almost every card yesterday. I don't mind them putting in all the filler cards, but atleast make the legends not be terrible.

I had all but four cards yesterday and had all but one in those categories. I completed it today and had to buy a few cards that I had plenty of stubs for, but it was way more than I expected and I expected it to require a lot with as much as was being released today. I had every Postseason card this morning and that was in some ways my hardest category. A few categories I had to buy a card or two in the marketplace, but I was about four or so short in Postseason and I could only get them from Flashback packs. Since I completed it, I would think I am the minority, but I just feel that was a bit extreme. I think maybe releasing it on a day where you were not going to require so much that was released today would sit better with most players.
My teenage kid who has the middle name “Brett” (for obvious reasons) walked in my room and said “I honestly want to be done with this game.” I told him on the forum they would say “See you tomorrow” and he said “Oh, that is so me. I’ll be playing tomorrow.”

I'm not spending 1 red cent for Brett, so he can come screaming out of the dugout at me 🤪, I still won't spend for stubs to complete this. It will take time. Slow and low, that is the tempo, to quote The Beastie Boys.

I love the challenge. It is what keeps me playing. Last year I only got to level 5 with one DD player. This year I am already at 2 and on the verge the rest of the month of hitting level 5 on 4 more.

I'm a NMS player and I'm not that far off from completing and have a ton invested, that didn't spike today unfortunately. Point is its definitely possible, but to have the card day 1 sure.... pull out the cc

The challenge is doing it without spending money. That is what has kept me motivated, despite their attempt to get us to drop real money, I'm going to grind away without spending a dime. That is the challenge.

I give an incredible amount of credit and respect to anyone able to complete this collection without spending money. I finished the collection right when it released but i had been hoarding every card since i started the game in preparation for this. Ya, i definitely spent some coin to get it done early in the game cycle. Just had to grind an hour when this new program was released to get enough progress towards the new non sellable postseason cards in Flashback packs i believe - the only collection that required such cards. Think i had 9/12 postseason set completed prior to needing the new Flashback cards. Anyway, major props to anyone able to do this thru grinding alone. Brett is a monster and definitely worth it. Reminds me of last years Chipper in terms of stats and play, only better.
