Why many DD Teams does NOT use a Uniform matching their Team Name & Logo?

I see way too many DD Teams calling thier team Vikings, Bears, Wizards or what ever else & then they are using a MLB Uniform of the Mets, Yankees, Twins or which ever other MLB team. Why would someonce call thier team the Vikings & use a Uniform of the Yankees which says Yankees on the Jersey. This makes no sense to me. It just only shows the lack of creativeness & just outright laziness to not create your own Uniform. There are so many word art team names & logos 1 can get from the vault.
This may be a pety pet peeve for me, but I really enjoy when I see someone that took lots of pride & effort with making their team look & sound unique. Even if its something like the Bears. You can change the colors & designs of the uniform to make it your own & original.
I myself made my DD team be the Emerald City Wizards. I felt that Emerald City as in Wizard Of Oz plays off well with calling the team Wizards. I also a wrestling fan. So my team abbrievation is ECW which pays homage to the old ECW wrestling organization. I changed up my colors so that it would be different & unique as to others whom uses the Wizards Name & Logo's.

My team is called H-TOWN OG”s. OG stands for original gangsta and I really like my logo. I’ve had a dude once messaging me about how bad [censored] my logo looked. He was from Houston as well so I figured he would like it lol

My team is Missouri Avenged. Team is Rockers and abbreviation is A7X. CAP is Synyster Gates. I may replace him some day if we ever get a C I like.

My team name is the stooges. In your mind does this mean I'm only allowed to wear jerseys that just say STOOGE across them? If so then I think you might be the stooge

I love college baseball so I use random college baseball teams, find unique logos from the vault and then customize the jerseys. In the past I’ve been Arizona State (Sparky logo), TCU (throwback TC logo), Army, Penn State, Boise State (horse leaning on state logo) and this year I’m using Carolina Tar Heels with the ram head logo. And designed the uniforms custom.

Sota NIce is my team name, I rock the Twins BP home/away uniforms, Twins TC logo. I wish we could edit the sleeves of created jerseys add like patches if you've made WS/12-0.

I don’t care. Wasting 30 minutes to an hour to make a jersey is dumb unless you just really want too. I’d rather use my favorite MLB or MiLB team jerseys or even switch it up for fun….. in fact when I play bad I change jerseys to try and fix some kind of jinx

May be a pet peeve for you, but fact of the matter is we have been asking to be able to use real jersey's for over 8 years. So if someone wants to create SF crocodiles and have Giants Uni's? Fine by me. They paid same amount for game as i did and what they do with thier team is thier business as long as it doesn't break TOS agreemement.

I would stay up until 3am to watch ECW back in the day. Those dudes were savages!

I wish the Bananas were there when I lived in Savannah. I lived in Savannah for 6 years from 2005-2011. We had the very run of the mill sand gnats. They moved that team and then the bananas came in.
