So uhh whos the lightning card for May

POTM will likely be mookie or goldy/Devers or Judge. Judge and mookie are out for the lightning and devers already has a FOTF. Would they seriously drop another firstbaseman? Pitchers of the month is likely wheeler and perez so maybe wheeler? Only other batter that could be a possibility is Altuve. What do you guys think?

Last months bizarre pick of Rizzo as the POTM should not mean the most deserving player this month should get ignored.
If last months non-lightning cards were 88's and 90's then maybe we get 89 and 91 or maybe 90 and 92? That would not be much of a bump from his live card. So, if he does not get lightning then there is a chance he just gets ignored altogether.

Story or Trea Turner? Both have had good months even if not as good as your guys you listed in op.

I don't know how people keep putting Story's name out there. He is batting .227 for the month of May. Goldschmidt has 2 more HRs and the same number of RBIs and is batting .406
Turner is a possibility to get a card because of the streak but I don't think he has done enough to be lightning.

It's only 10 HR's according to MLB.com whose stats are up to date and include the game that is going on now, where Gallegos just wasted Wainwrights 7 scoreless innings by allowing a double and a HR to allow the Padres to tie the game.

I'm not saying that Betts doesn't deserve it, but giving Mookie a 95 POTM card when he already has a 95 card is dumber than Rizzo getting April's card. Betts being the "best" performer over goldy is quite debatable too.
