I agree that Goldy rakes lefties, but 65 power vs right is just not true. It’s like Mookie last year. Card is unusable now.

Same with Manny. I dont think a .500 slugging against rhps warrants 64 power. 75 or higher is a much better representation. And its been consistent even with their 3 year average model. If i paralell 5 him hes only got 69 power. Not many balls are gonna leave just like with goldy. It's a shame. Really feels like theyre trying to nerf live series cards and render them useless earlier in the year. Maybe if base hits and contact mattered in this game so that we wouldnt have to use players with the most power possible to have a chance to win. High contact low power is just lineouts and shallow fly outs. Its terrible

It's reasonable though unfortunately. Goldy hasn't slugged close to .500 against RHP in several years. His ISO and AB/HR is not great either. His average is up over .300 though, his contact may go up again if he keeps rolling.

In 2021
VS RH - 1 HR in every 20.8 at bats
Vs LH - 1 HR in every 15 ABIn 2022
Vs RH - 1 HR in every 33 at bats
VS LH - 1 HR in every 9 at bats.So there is a pretty sizable gap there and I say that as a Goldschmidt fan.

Power is based off of ISO. also let's quit acting like SDS is picking and choosing upgrades when they are just putting stats into a calculator and letting a computer do the work
