Spring Program Final push
-
Currently sitting at about 680k xp. Have been trying to push to make it to 750k for the last of the free packs. I have only about 5 hours tonight to play at most. I've heard March to October is a good way to grab xp but never have played it. Any advice how I can finish up or am I wasting my time this late?

Have you done all three exchanges?
-
That is easily doable just playing against the CPU if you have 5 hours
-
Mini Seasons is an xp goldmine and it helps you parallel players. RTTS can be really good too and can get you some diamond perks and equipment that sell for some nice stubs.

No, I don't have any players to exchange that would make it worthwhile. Everything I've sold or added to collections.

Would I have to complete the entire season? That seems like it would take more than five hours.

maybe, maybe not. it depends if you try to go all the goals which get you extra XP.

I think MTO would take at least 5 to complete. Like others have said, RTTS can give you tons of XP's.

Just knock out the base hits, rbis with 2nd half players and strike outs with rookies, vets and BO. Then see where you are time wise. If you use a created stadium you knock out wins fast, and you dont need to play all 28 regular season games. I usually get through one game in 15 minutes or less. So 4 per hour which easily gets you into the playoffs, 18 wins easily puts you in the playoff. If you can come up with an extra hour you easily get a whole season in with playoffs in 6 hours.

With double XP 5 hours is far more than enough time to get there. Literally play anything. I would do mini seasons because there's xp bonuses for all the missions. But conquest will get it done, play vs CPU, any online mode. Anything.

Like other have said mini-seasons is the way. If you can download created stadium go get "blank slate". It's like a little league field with 3ft walls. Homers all day. Get the 30 rbi and 30 on base missions then restart season and repeat. I can do those like 3 times an hours at least. Like 10k xp every time you complete.
-
What a waste it was for me to complete it. In my last 56 packs acquired in the program, including Ballin' and Headliners, I got just a diamond banner.

You don’t have enough time to do MTO if you only have 5 hours. A winning run will take you about 15-20 hours

RTTS with 2x xp may be the way to go. Consider RTTS a limited resource of xp though, so only grind it until you hit the end of the program and ‘Save some room for later Augustus!’

I'm assuming you've done all the moments? Lock in all 4 of the collections (Rookies, Rizzo, Perez, Nike KC Jersey?). Did the showdowns/conquest?
If you want to spend 6,000ish stubs you can always buy the other 2 "classic pack" players you didn't select and do their pxp missions for 2000 each (plus the in-game rewards).
Otherwise:
If you're stuck on like pure XP requirements....I'd recommend RTTS grinding. Set on Beginner, turn off all the presentational stuff and fielding off and just rake dingers/xbhs using a power build. You get chunks of xp every so often as you unlock rewards plus hitting a bunch of xbhs/rbis every game will add up quickly with in-game xp. Only really works well if you've havent leveled that RTTS build type yet. -
Rtts. Only bat. 1000 xp per 2 minutes on easy.
