I I suggest buying Klubber, Street & Ottavino. So you have 1 SP & 2 RP/CP to use. Pitchers collect PxP lots faster them Hitters.
Not really a sound strategy considering the fact that using 1 pitcher in a 9 inning game will get you more xp than using all 3 pitchers but you will get more xp for 1 pitcher in a 9 inning game and 2 batters batting 4-5 times each.

You are ONLY thinking in terms of 9 Inning games & are not putting into thought 3 inning games when Stamina goes down super fast & you also need to pinch hit for your SP & replace him. Not to mention if that 3 ining game goes to 4 or 5 innings. So 3 Pitchers is best.
I did all my Big Dog PxP Missions with Pitchers ONLY

id say this is the most efficient, but only slightly. Playing the mystery map over and over takes a little longer due to hex gains, but it also comes with 5 packs. just depends on your goals. For speed id do 9 innings, for rewards id go mystery map or even repeating the main map. (that's what I did for monthly awards)

For the BD program, i had already had Kluber, Granderson, Sandoval, Roberts and Ottavino to start with and then from the packs they give you for advancing in the program i got Volpe and Witt Jr. I think it was a little more than 2 games to do the PXP mission for BD players. 2 complete game shutouts with 20 Ks vs the CPU on rookie and a [censored] ton of runs doesnt really take as long as people seem to think.

id say if you had 2 complete games and scored 15-25 runs a game, that would equate to the same time as playing the mystery map once, but I don't think you would get as much xp due to pitcher stamina costing SO and having to look at 3-4 different pitchers each game (scoring only 5-10 a game)

i was able to complete it pretty fast. I did all the moments and played 3-4 vs cpu games w/ my starting pitcher being a big dog player. so did 3-4 complete games w/ him and got it.

If you play the worst team in the game (usually the Orioles) and play at Shippett or Coors, you can get 20 Ks with your pitcher and still put up 15-20 runs easy.
