Diamonds from packs color

I believe purple is 85-89, blue is 90-94, and red is 95+. I could be wrong about the later two, but I know 84-89s are purple and Trout is red.

So you know when you pull a diamond there is a color before the card is shown, I know it is different for each overall or like legends but what does each color mean

I thought it was based on the team or something. It was red when I pulled Trout

Maybe I'm color blind or something but I've been thinking this whole time that the color was pink and not purple
