Turtles are awesome. My wife and I started sponsoring sea turtles a few years ago. Our latest turtle is Titan. He lost part of his flipper when he was hit by a propeller. He is still at their facility recovering. We also sponsored Pippin and Melbourne and they have both been released.
That's pretty cool... they need the help. My wife and I have gotten to see 2 different breeding facilities in Grand Cayman and Peurta Vallarta Mexico... really cool to see thousands of babies at once ready to be released. They are really cool and live a very challenging life for sure. Unfortunately like a lot of sea creatures... they are struggling to survive.

I live near the beach in NE Florida. I've seen a few sea turtle nests hatch, and it's truly awesome.
