NMS, No Money Spent

I am genuinely curious on everyone's thoughts (those who don't spend money on this game, those that do, those that inform you that they do or don't spend money).
Why do people feel the need to share in their team name that they don't spend money on this game? It's not hard at all to Field a competitive team without spending money so what are the reasons behind this phenomenon?

Why do people feel the need to share in their team name that they don't spend money on this game? It's not hard at all to Field a competitive team without spending money so what are the reasons behind this phenomenon.
Much like Facebook when someone checks into the hospital but then doesn't say why and then when 200 people post under there asking if they are okay and what's wrong and sending prayers but the person never specifies why they're in the hospital. It's just an attention grab. Just feel sorry for them and move on. No one should care if you're no money spent or if you drop $5,000 on the game like a streamer. It's irrelevant you're either good at the game or you're not.

They never did in the past, when it was actually hard to get everyone "no money spent". But now that it has been easy last few years you see it everywhere.
Its all a streamer, YouTube thing. People see them saying it so they start saying it. These YouTubers and streamer guys are kinda new to the whole, "wait, you dont have to break the bank day 1 to get these collections done?" Because they are so use to doing just that and claiming it as expenses on their taxes at the end of the year.

NMS is like someone who is vegan they have this need to tell you and anyone else in an ear shot they are vegan. No one asked or really cared but they are going to tell you anyways because they require vindication for their efforts to not bite into a nice juciy thick piece of steak, that's covered in....wait what were we talking about again

Agreed, thing is they have other accts. They put money into so technically they are not NMS. The true NMS is the person who plays on one acct. and doesn't put money into it. They do the "NMS" videos for views that's it they are not true NMS.

Also, a lot of their "NMS" secondary accounts you are referring to, they have someone else help with the grinding on that account.

Also I love when those who are NMS also come of here an complain that's SDS doesn't get enough new legends or loose a legend, when in releality being NMS is a factor in losing or gaining these legends as you contribute nothing to getting these players.

I beg to differ on this. If people spend money buying any edition of the game they are contributing.

Agree there is a larger debate to be had on this for sure, I just think it's funny how in one way you boast you are NMS then complain that the company doesn't spend enough to get legends.
