Things we definitely need in The Show!

I think we need classic teams like the 27 Yankees, 69 Mets, & the 45 Tigers etc. We also need the Yankees classic stadium from 1923-1972. We need Navin field or Tiger stadium as well. Just a thought. We need players like Nap Lajoie and Jimmie Foxx. We need classic teams badly.

For years they basically said they wouldn't put classic stadiums in because "muh resources". And unless they can pull an NBA2k and get the rights to entire teams with one paycheck, that's probably not happening. That being said, I'd love to see some of those 70s Phillies teams

I would think they could since a lot of players can’t be in nba 2k because of past video game deals. (Charles Barkley). Most of those past players didn’t have this issue. I wish they could figure it out.

Well to be fair, The Oakland Coliseum is in the game, and they don't want to give us TWO unlikable dumps.

Well to be fair, The Oakland Coliseum is in the game, and they don't want to give us TWO unlikable dumps.
They d give each other a run for the money in horrible-ness. neither quite as bad as Olympic was at the end though(if memory serves correct)

I agree on the stadiums. Also, perhaps retro teams such as New York giants, Brooklyn dodgers, Seattle pilots, Milwaukee/ Boston braves. Maybe even add in the negro league. Put in guys from the negro league as legends such as Satchel Paige, Ford Smith, so on and so forth.
Not to mention put back in last name audios they had from 21..All I have mentioned is just all wishful thinking, I know. But one can dream. -

Why? Veterans and others (Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, others) are cookie-cutters, bland and have nothing to offer. They are basically WS Baseball on Sega, where there was the batter’s eye view of the real stadium, and the ball in play had 3 generic ones depending on where you played. It would be exactly the same. I grew up in the 80s/90s and those eye sores of stadiums bring up 0 nostalgia. Ask Pirates fan if they miss 3R Stadium; ugh 🤮

The Big O is still /is uglier by the year; went for a preseason game between the Jays and Brewers 3-4 years ago… horrendous.

I would love some old Stadiums. I wish they would add some. If they would actually add the correct Triple A stadiums that would be cool too.

I've been a proponent of ML sized generic stadiums as well, but with the half baked Create a Stadium, that'll never happen either

What can be done is that they can make Teams for those stand out seasons for those teams. They just use the players they do have rights for & do use already within content as Legends & Flashbacks. The rest of the team are players resembling the real players, but with fictitious names & numbers, but with being fully unlocked so you can go into them your own to edit their names, numbers. You wouldn't have to create them from scratch. Just edit their name & number. So lets say with the 69 Mets ..... Seaver, Ryan, Koosman & McGraw will be there. But the others wont be there. However Cleon Jones can be put in as Clay James & Tommie Agee can be put in as Timmy Adams. All we would need to do is go in to edit their name & give them their proper number.

As well you can also go into the Vault to search for Team Rosters created by The Show players & uploaded them into the Vault. You can download & save them & use them as your selected Roster from Save Files to play in Franchise or RTTS. Last year I found a created roster of the 86 Mets which I used in RTTS & really enjoyed doing so.

Why? Because if you’re going to have other teams older stadiums in the game you should have all of them. I’m 34, I grew up in the Vet. I’d love to play some games there. It’s a video game. It isn’t reality. There’s literally NO harm in adding it. If I gotta play random games at the polo ground or Shibe park, it would be nice to be able to play a game or two at a stadium I grew up with. Just because you or some others might not like the stadium don’t mean you speak for everyone.

Two worst stadiums I’ve ever been to were Olympic and Shea. The Vet wasnt great by any means but their customer service was surprisingly top notch and kept it from the basement.
