Who asked for faster pitch speeds and small pci?

I think hitting is a mess.
It is a mess. Everyone except for the folks who spend their entire checks and play this religiously are playing completely different.

Spending money doesn't help make you a better hitter, if it does allmustfall wouldn't be complaining about hitting...

I asked for it. Sucks having people flailing at 10 pitches an AB and never strikeout. Strikeouts are finally a thing again this year, even on all-star difficultly.
Because they’re just using X to hit, no PCI. I wish ranked would place players together with using the same interface for hitting.

There were a bunch of people who asked for faster pitch speeds

That’s not true at all. Have you ever used directional online? Like a large sample size?

Yet you know that guys that foul of pitches every where or using directional? where's the logic in that if you've never used it?

Does anyone actually believe SDS makes sweeping changes based on message board posts from a random and miniscule part of their customer base?
Not a chance. Not even a factor.Facts are, everyone on this forum represents not even 1% of the total people who play this game.
They base their changes on raw data, and when a majority of teams are hitting well over .400 online, that's when they decide to make changes.. now only the WS players are over .400
And what’s included in these “changes” to bring players BA down? Nerfing hits? Messing up the timing window? Why can’t they just let us play without trying to dictate everything?

I asked for a faster pitch speeds and smaller PCI. When your in the 700-800's, you shouldn't lose 3-4 in a row to people in the 500-600's on some BS like last year. Pitching actually matters this year.
-
Pitching actually matters this year?
Wow. Well, I’ll admit it is slightly less iffy since 1.05 (1.06?) but it’s still usually a battle of who will hang the first gopher ball, I’d say.
Now I’m a lousy hitter so that is its own issue, but every game I lose usually has an unforced walk or two followed by a home run on a pitch I missed up with.

If you're in the 700s you shouldn't be playing people on all star anymore. Wouldn't it be better to find a way to make that work than punish people that were struggling to hit on all star before the patches?

I prefer HOF and can still score runs on HOF. I made people quit on HOF yesterday. I'm sure plenty of others do too. I hope they don't change it.
Yea, I did too on Thursday. Last night and today it feels like everyone is throwing 120 and my pitchers either throw right over the plate or 2 ft outside. Never had this problem before. Tried different controllers, settings and connections and same problem.

That is a false statement. People can spend their money how they want but there is a big difference between Mantle and Acuna, Biggio and Sanchez. So you are saying hitting with people with 100 vision and 100 contact doesn't make you a better hitter than using people with 70 contact and 50 vision?

While I agree, you can't actually guarantee a match on hall of fame until you hit like 770 because the search bar starts you by searching like 70 points below your ranking

I asked for faster pitch speeds and smaller PCI's.....
Now if they could only figure out the exit velo and what defines perfect perfect because it seems like perfect/perfect is being early on the ball with perfect PCI placement

Considering the highest vision I had on my world series run was 83 with Altuve who was on my bench, no I don't think spending money makes you a better hitter, if people can't catch up to a fastball having Biggio or Mantle isn't going to change that.

You need to quit comparing yourself to 99.99% of the people that play this game. The majority of the people playing would be better with Mantle than Acuna. Not sure how you can argue that point.

I know what you're saying. I'm just thinking there must be something that could be done to guarantee you only play on HoF once you get there. A user toggle or something. Just throwing stuff out there honestly
I get where you guys are coming from. It just sucks that there always has to be a battle between two groups that both just want to have fun playing other people in a baseball game.

Because players don't effect timing, outside of the top content streamers and players that buy a bunch of stubs to start the year, what happens when you come up against the dudes that buy teams to start? they're usually trash and can't catch up to a fastball, having Mantle isn't going to change that. Allmustfall has all those guys and is complaining that he can't hit.. so what is it? why is he constantly complaining that he can't hit if it's so much easier to hit with Mantle over Acuna?

A lot of people asked for a bigger skill gap, and while you could argue back and forth how well they actually achieved that, faster pitch speeds and smaller pci factor into trying to create that.
Then why are the best players in the world like pitching rebel, McGunski and your friend Kyle annoyed by the patch? When the patch first dropped juicing speeds and shrinking the holy hell out of the pci and perfect perfects being far fewer they all complained and so did streamers. It’s utter bs
Kyle took back his statement, he said he actually supported this
Sure didn’t seem like he supported it in his videos from his lack of enjoyment with squared up balls going nowhere getting shut out a lot and rng seemingly deciding games. He’s hitting a lot now bc he’s doing golden boys playing with only gold cards on lower difficulties. Also some of these guys will support sds no matter what bc they are content creators and the game is their livelyhood so it hurts them to not adapt and support a broken game.
