Minimum 8 ABs, I think, to receive credit for progress.
-
Ok cool. I appreciate it. Just wish I had some more batters to get the POTM hitters missions done. I'm like halfway thru that part now, so just grinding 9 innings at my create a park to hit bombs

This, and use a POTM pitcher if you have one.

Does anyone know if you can quit out of a vs cpu game and still get PXP to count towards progress? I only have 3 monthly hitters and this is taking way too long to do for this new POTM player structure lol
As long as you've done the Topps Now mission and the moments it should only take doing one player pxp mission to unlock the 90 pack to add a 4th player to the grind.
-
Yeah I just got that one to get another hitter, slowly getting there. Just had a good game of hitting. Prob only need a few more HR's with potm hitters and ill be unlocking stage 3

Look into the classics pack from the spring cleanup program. They're around 3k. I had Dickerson and he has been really good, and Victor Reyes is my leadoff hitter and I just bunt with him pretty successfully. Playing against the CPU for anyone who is gonna call me a bunt cheeser lol

Ohhh ok. Yeah I wasn't sure if those other cards counted as well or if we had to use only the new April POTM hitters. Thank you!

Yeah I tried to use Stripling from that pack and I do not think his XP counted toward the program.

That is my biggest complaint. They spread out the new cards far enough that the grind will take longer since you cant just add them all to your lineup at the same time. Start with the first three and then as you finish them you add another, and then work on his PXP and then add another. It just prolongs the program by making you play more games to get all the PXP that you will need.

I just realized they did this. They are such jerks.

I didn't think it worked either because his progress didn't show up on the post game screen, but I went back to the program to check and the pxp for monthly pitchers went up by roughly the amount he earned in the game (didn't have an exact number for what it was pregame so can't be sure, but it seemed to be about right.) Apologies in advance if I'm wrong though, if someone has good evidence please correct me.

Why not just play Conquest?

Yea he definitely doesnt count. I used Lopez as my starter in a conquest game and tried to get a save with Stripling and only counted the points for Lopez
