Lol this is getting insane with the craziness of these plays...
You have players teleporting to the ball from 15-20 feet away.
But worst of them all is the penguin slide.. Might as well bring our a new defensive quirk called Penguin Belly slide.
Diving catches that the player slides on the field like a penguin sliding on his belly on a icy slope from 10-15 feet away to make a catch.
Is the field made of Ice this year ?
Getting out of control and its hilarious but it has no place in this game ..Way too arcady lol

It's like a slip n slide out there. Nothing says this game is scripted more than 20 foot diving plays.

My biggest complaint with this game remains to be the completely unrealistic foul tips that extend ABs
Just awful that you can throw a ball that nearly bounces to the plate, your opponent swings early or VE, and foul tips it. Physically impossible unless you have a 4ft bat.
Lord forbid we have people strike out. At the bare minimum it should be weak contact in play for an out
But this year? Foul tips are worse than ever before. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve had my opponent swing at an awful pitch with bad timing with 2 strikes only to get a foul tip to give him another chance. Usually leads to a jammed blooper or an XBH
Game is awful in so many regards. Being able to play at 120hz online is nice, game looks smooth. Plays horribly
Highly doubt any patch will get this game to an enjoyable state

Yeah the diving stops need to get tweaked. Had a guy in events take 1 step and dive waaaay to early. Should have been an easy single but he slid like 20 feet and ball went right into his glove.
Who needs to worry about diamond defense this year when any player is going to make amazing diving stops every few innings.

In June, SDS will debut the 'electric slide' play.
Instead of throwing to second on a DP, the fielders will hold the grounder and slide sideways to tag the bag themselves, then throw to first....

whats weird is if your really dive with the timing of a normal player they dont penguin slide there feet just practiclly stick in place instead of actually diving its more of a falling over.. Sometimes i do kinda enjoy diving 5 seconds early well the ball is passing the pitcher and just laugh my [censored] of when it lands in the glove and my guy is basicly waiting for the ball posing for the camera lmao

I do find it hilarious that AI pitchers always have lightning fast reflexes on comebackers, while your guys have all the reaction time of a sedated sloth. Same with infielders...there's stuff where I'm positive it's in the hole...nope Nolan Arenado makes a thirty foot stab and throws me out.

It's weird because I feel like it is a very slow slide that covers like 15 feet. Plus the ball slow down to give the animation time to happen. Not sure why they changed the coding from last year. Atleast last year we just had to deal with the pitcher wall and catcher warping to cover bunts.
