Good for you man, I mean that. Ignorance is a blessing.
I wouldn't call it ignorance. I'm aware of what's going on and understand the situation.
I just don't really care.

Also want to say, and I could be wrong, but the amount of players and streamers who are just now figuring all this stuff out, and the rumor that Xbox was 120hz all last year. It really makes me think that they would have gladly left this issue in the dark and allowed the playstation user to play the game at such a huge disadvantage.
Letting one team play at 120hz and restricting another team to playing at 60hz is akin to letting one team know what pitch is coming. It is an unfair advantage.
I feel like this is a commentary on something else but I just can’t put my finger on it……..
I'll help you out.. he's a troll, and he's convinced himself that the camera in center field at minute maid park Is the only reason the astros beat his Dodgers in the WS.... in dodger stadium
You're just being ignorant. Let's just conveniently forget Game 5 of that series in Minute Maid with the teams both tied at 2-2. Astros didn't has ONE single swing and miss on 51 breaking balls thrown by Kershaw and they needed 13 runs to win in extra innings. Kershaw in G1 at Dodger Stadium went 7 innings, 11 strikeouts, and only gave up 1 run. He threw 4 innings of relief in G7 at Dodgers stadium and gave up 0 runs and struck out 4. All I know is that the Astros have never won a World Series without cheating. Choked in 2019 with a super stacked team and choked in 2021 against the Braves.
Lol ok. If you call 2 AL pennants in 3 years choking. Its just sad at this point, find somthing else to be triggered about.

Xbox was able to do it from the start while ps5 just got an update for it here recently. Give it time and I think ps5 will be able to do it. Hopefully here soon. I’d rather go back to PS anyways, controller feels better to me

Cool, keep deflecting. Not triggered. Just stating facts. That 2019 Astros lineup was compared to Murderers Row and had an awesome rotation and they lost to a wild card team at home. In fact they lost all 4 WS games at Minute Maid in 2019. That is a colossal choke.
They lost to an 88 win team at home in 2021 going 1-2 at Minute Maid. Guess they needed that CF camera from 2017? Anyways, I'm done with this discussion since it's obvious you like to ignore stats and logic. PEACE

I think people switching to Xbox is a massive overreaction myself. Somy dropped all of this by surprise and SDS was caught with their pants down. I don't think they are trying to give Xbox the clear advantage, especially when they stated that they were working to fix the matchmaking issues with 120hz turned on, not to stop players from using the PS5s capabilities
-
The performance difference between the two systems is almost assuredly due to the input lag reduction afforded by monitors/tv's that are in Variable Refresh Reduction mode, regardless of resolution and screen refresh rates and whether the game is capped or uncapped at 60hz online, which it IS (and has been on both XBOX Series X and PS5).
And for the past year+, Xbox Series X has had VRR available online and offline for MLBTS 21/22. So the real performance gains should be seen when VRR is implemented for PS5 online.
To see the difference in input latency/lag, just look at the VRR columns in the RTTS input lag tests and you can see that the latency when using VRR is a whopping half of (or twice as fast) as the input lag of monitors/tv's in non-VRR mode.
https://www.rtings.com/tv/tests/inputs/input-lag
Take for example:
LG OLED C1 - 10.6ms (4K 60Hz) 5.6ms (4K VRR)
I anticipate that SDS will implement VRR into the online modes for PS5 now that the feature has been made available for them to do so, and all of the current hullaballoo over the feature will soon be forgotten.

Um, no system is (and has ever been) playing MLBTS at 120hz online.
One system (SERIES X) has, on the other hand, been available to play with VRR for over a year, and as Robert Frost said: "...and that has made all the difference."

Lol you literally can't use the only OP pitching method naturally on XBox from what I know.
Yes you can. You just need a different controller. $30 Power A controller does the trick.

I quit MLB the Show over 5 years+ ago. When I heard it was coming to Xbox last year I was ecstatic. I 100% the achievements last year. Hoping to do it once again this year. Gamepass has been a blessing.

Maybe not your intention, but that's a bit harsh. If the simple solution for me (in the sense that it doesn't bother me) is to turn off cross play, I'm satisfied. I used to work in tech and would obsess over specs and being up to date and the latest stuff. I changed field and really, what's the big deal with 60 vs 120 fps or 1080 vs 1440; or 120hz. There's a work around for that.
At the same time, PS5 owners who feel they got short changed knew that XBox had superior capacities at release, and that Sony had some catching up to do.
I turned off cross play as well.
-
I didn't know you could turn off cross play
