    I like it.

I'm an older gamer (49 today actually), and use zone hitting. I usually hunt location and have had difficulty the last 2-3 years with overshooting my PCI placement. I think that the anchor keeps me more stable, even if it means I'm taking strikes in the zone where I happen to not be looking.

I don't think it is that big of a deal. Unless it is contributing to the foul ball situation that is.......I occasionally use it but move the pci to the opposite side bc it sucks back to that spot and you don't necessarily need to even move the pci if it goes to that zone. (I anchor in but hold the pci out)

Does PCI anchor really add any value (for beginners or otherwise)?

I’m just not sure I get it. How is “anchoring” it different from just using zone and keeping the PCI there yourself? If anything I think if I anchor at a point and only look for a pitch there, I couldn’t react to something else.

Anyone try it out? Think it’s a cheat somehow?

Used it at first, but for the last week I stopped. Probably because I’m getting my eye back after I quit 21 around September. Unless I’m being spammed high inside sinkers 50% of the time.

Because it does it for you and you don't have to hold it there yourself.

In all seriousness, I thought it would be a cool feature but the only time I ever use it really is accidentally.

    I have a love/hate relationship with it.
It helps us that are chronic PCI droppers, yet it puts more clutter in the SZ, unless you take the dots off.
It helped me look in a certain zone, but if I override it, I go back to dropping my PCI yet again. 'If only I left it there,' I say at times.
That said, it does feel like cheating a bit, but there's no doctor to see to keep us from PCI droppage, so I go back to it, reluctantly.
They never added PCI sensitivity, and probably can't, so I'll take this feature.

I use generic stick extenders to alleviate sensitivity and get back the dropping under control. When I feel like they keep me from reaching some pitches, I take them off. Usually does the trick, especially early in the game cycle.

Edit: I also make a conscious effort to keep my thumb on top of the stick, which is tough for me because I have smallish hands. Same reason I can’t play XBox with the shoulder buttons, my joints scream lol

It's a good situational tool, but I would not anchor every pitch.

I have been using it set to top middle simply to help with PCI dropping but it really hasn’t helped me at all. I still drop it below pitches low in the zone. I have also found that if there is a specific spot I really want to set up (like up and in), the anchor really doesn’t lock at that spot and I am better off to just place it there myself.

I wish I didn’t have to set it for every hitter. Is there a way to set one spot as the “default” anchor point? I like setting it low and in. Seems to help a little. And happy birthday to @hoboadam_PSN !!

    Thanks for the birthday wishes.

Yeah, setting it up with a default location would be nice...

Actually, my biggest ask is to bring able to lock that PCI before the [censored] practice swings are done being animated.

I've had the game since the beginning and just found out about it. I guess in Moonshot program, it's expanded. I think it's a beginner's/ borderline intermediate tool, but should have option to be turned off in pvp. Ive tried researching disabling the feature for matches and no luck. I pride myself on sequence and location pitching and this ruins that. As childish as this sounds, this ruined my experience. FYI I have most of the achievements completed, tons of rare diamonds and around $2M stubs... smh
