And the game itself doesn’t run above 60fps. When set to 120, the system duplicates each frame so it makes your tv think it’s getting a 120 source. The only advantage is slightly lower input lag.

Seems like a weird time to jump ship. Right when Sony implements VRR and will have more 120 FPS games available now.

I always thought you were one of the most consistent level headed guys on here. Almost always liked and agreed with your comments.
I think some people don’t care about what company produces games/consoles or whatever and just want to play baseball.

For me personally it makes no sense to own two consoles. I don’t have 12 hours a day to play every major title released. I just play some MLB for a couple hours after taking care of my responsibilities in life.

I would have changed then if I knew it would take a year for PS5 to implement it and if I knew SDS wouldn’t allow it once it was implemented. I also didn’t know the 10ms input lag reduction was so huge until I experienced it yesterday.

Before everyone jumps ships. I am both. After hearing about this yesterday I started playing on Xbox. Yes the 102 fastballs are more like 98 (in events with Chapman and dibble non stop)… however the pitching on pinpoint is a little more sensitive, so I was not pitching well and with the r3 button in a different spot I found myself having to relearn where to place my thumb, etc. kept pulling down…. A lot….
Went back to PS5 and won 4 games in a row on events.
TLDR — if you arent good on ps5, u won’t be good on Xbox. If you are a borderline WS player, it might help u on HOF and legend but u have to relearn how to hit and pitch

I use the wired Power A on Series X, and pinpoint motions are silky smooth. Perfect releases on splitters without too much trouble.

consoles support VRR through HDMI 2.1. Other display standards such as NVIDIA G-SYNC
and AMD FreeSync are not supported
