I’ve always questioned why there’s a power attribute for right handed and left handed pitchers. I feel like power is power, it doesn’t change depending on a righty or lefty is pitching. Contact and vision is obviously different between righty and lefty pitchers but you can’t say realistically that Giancarlo Stanton has different overall power against a righty than he does a lefty. He can hit it 500 ft off of anybody. Now whether he hits 300 against righties and 250 against lefties is a different story.
Also for fielding, maybe to make it a little more realistic for infielders, you can add fielding ability to his glove side and then fielding ability with the backhand. Every infielder is different some are better with their backhand than others.
And for arm strength, allow an increase for your ballplayer on certain plays in the hole maybe or on slow roller where he has to throw it on the run. It doesn’t make sense that it increases more when he makes an underhand toss to 2nd to turn a double play but on a backhand play in the hole it doesn’t.
Just a couple suggestions there. Otherwise I do think this is the best sports game and thank you if you guys actually read any of these.

Also. I think awareness is a very important attribute. Whether it be fielding or baserunning or pitching. Knowing the situation and making the right throw or taking that extra base is sometimes the difference between a big leaguer and a guy in the minors. Maybe bring back baserunning ability and input fielding awareness or just add awareness as an attribute for the overall aspect of the whole game.

With the power thing. Power isn't equal to strength, or how hard they hit the ball. Power is equal to power numbers and contact is equal to contact numbers. Power numbers include doubles and triples as well. Just think of power as slugging pct and contact as batting avg.

Power attribute should be ISO not SLG. SLG is a component of Average at the end of the day, ISO is isolated so gives you the better assessment. You could potentially use exit velocity measures as well but that might be more difficult.

They need to revamp the way they create these attributes, really. Using K-Rate for vision is bad as well, Contact Rates, Swinging Strikes, or Wiffs should be used for vision instead.

Statcast sprint speed measures for speed should be used... then from there you can assess aggressiveness and stealing ability with other measures.

power doesn't say he can't hit the ball 500 feet, it says he hits less homeruns vs certain handedness, therefore the attribute is lower for such. That's why there are cards with 90 power vs Left and 40 vs right etc etc

What about players like Joc Pederson - his career numbers

Against RHP he hits a HR about once in every 15 at bats (92 PWR Vs R in the game)
Against LHP he hits a HR about once in every 40 at bats (39 PWR Vs L in the game)

It's not an overall strength attribute. It is something to try and coincide with how his power numbers are in real life.
