Shut the market down until you fix this mess

As someone that has been saving for the last two weeks to get Trout and was pacing to get him today, the moving of the goal posts was unfortunate. Between this and the fact that my game crashes to the dashboard every 3-4 games, I am trending to give up the grind early this year. Last year was my first one playing and I really enjoyed it, but this year’s game feels more similar to the Madden and NBA 2K [censored] that I happily quit. Such is the state of gaming and other than this post, I am not going to complain or waste inordinate amounts of time playing anymore (not that anyone cares).

I'm still unsure why there's an issue...It happens periodically doesn't it? At least in all the years I played(I took a break on 19 and 20)

Nah, I hear you. I dabbled in MUT (Madden) and MyTeam (2K), but it eventually sucked the joy out of the game for me. This (DD) is the longest I’ve stayed in an ultimate team mode and I think it’s finally time for me to hang it up as well.
I really just grind this out so that if a friend and I play, we have cards to work with. But what’s the point if all we’re doing is constantly grinding in order to get those cards at the expense of ever playing each other lol

They removed the decent flippability of the cards this year and almost nerfed the ability of people to make decent stubbs on their own without buying

What may be bad, is that anyone that benefited from this issue today may lose all their cards/stubs, even if they did it unknowingly.
i dont see how that would be possible or fair, all u are doing is putting your cards up for auction you are not controlling anything or apart of the stub laundering in any way. yeah maybe if you do it like 5 times or something i could see the argument but 1 or 2 of your cards just selling for a high price isnt your fault at all.

Yup, barely anything worth spending the time flipping, plus with the adjustment of quick sell values, the long term investment market is tough to gauge as well, can’t think of anything that’s been a W this year and it’s really disappointing

The biggest issue is they never address anything like this. No doubt they changed this game for the worse when it comes to market.

Don’t worry, i just put in a buy order and a high sell order, with my luck they are guaranteed to never be filled or sold….market stabilized.

Sounds awful familiar. Every league I joined (as you know) has turned into this exact thing...

I hope so. This is bs. I would have just given some black market site my money if I knew this was going to happen.
Spend hours flipping cards.... or spend 100 and be done either the collection. Just isn't fair
Yeah I think that the people cheating the system need to get banned, but I feel bad for someone who bought a gatekeeper because the cost was down and they get penalized while not knowing what caused it.

Don't worry I bought 1 at 75k and he's already back down to 50k. So I fixed the problem lol

No they're not. A select few are.
At the time time I wrote all 90+ were.

SDS wnt do anything immediately as the likely have to investigate what is occurring and if it's a large number of accounts even a small number that will take time. Then when they do figure it out the ban the accounts but really what does that fix? These things happen in all games with these open markets or hackers in generally in games. Combines do what the can but you are going up against very proactive people on how to cheat a game. Is SDS to blame maybe but anything they do is going to be reactive to try and counter as you can never e ahead of these kinds of people. Also taking down the market please explain how that would help cause I don't see it, all I see that doing is players assuming cards and no where to sell then when the market comes back an influx of inventory goes on the market tanking the value of cards because of the sheer volume
