Mini Season consolidated Bug Thread

I'll do my best to try to help consolidate issues and share what has been working flawlessly for me.
I've read issues of (Unhandled Server Exception) and wins counting as losses. I suspect the problem there is related from a data sync and communication with the servers perspective.
The 0-0 recap on the final game of the regular season. I've seen that myself and it hasn't affected my playoff seeding, my ability to continue to the next game etc. If the 0-0 is happening mid flight during a season, and causing either a loss or game summary not found, I'd like to hear about it here.
I've successfully played 3 seasons since launch, winning all 3. Most of my games have been on my PS5 with maybe 10 in total on the PS4. I've never had a loss from a win, nor a game not count.
Anytime I've seen Unhandled Server Exception, it's been for any DD mode, and those have been ultra rare by comparison to last year.
My account is a PSN account only. Not linked across platforms and not listed as a Show Account.
I've played 95% of my games on AS. Usually after the 20th win, I swap to Veteran to finish the CPU off and not risk getting the championship package.
I play at least 2 games each session, but have done up to 12 in one sitting.
I've never quit a game vs the CPU to either log off for the night, or just to move on to the next game or playoffs. I suspect that people doing this are contributing to their issue perhaps.
PSA-, I don't work for SDS. Don't want to either. I turn 49 next week and have A LOT of experience with online games, testing, debugging etc. I also have been paid IRL to code, debug, run scripts import, export data and design as well as fix code that displays stuff real time via the web or application and pulls it's data from incompatible DB2 tables and pulled from SQL environments using XML, python etc. I mention all of this so people don't assume I'm blindly guessing about what is happening. I have a great understanding of what causes errors etc. I never pretend to know something I don't. Data and program communication is something I definitely know.
Mini Season is a great mode and I want people to enjoy it too. If it broke for me suddenly, I'd start gathering data, conditions etc and start emailing SDS.

I just won the semifinal series of my mini season and now every time i go in i get the unhandled serever exception. Do u know a way to fix this?

I'm going to ask questions. Remember, I don't have all answers, but this is my attempt to diagnose.
What console?
Do you have progression connected across platforms? My guess is yes
What was your regular season record before that semi finals win?
Did you quit out any games before heading into the playoffs?

I played every game and won my championship and didn’t receive the championship bundle or Longoria. Had no issues playing just didn’t get my rewards

Was it your first run through? You positive that Longo isn't in your card inventory and you just didn't get a post series notification? I think Longo was actually inside the championship package.
Also, when you go to start it over, the package might show after. Take pictures before proceeding if possible so you can send a bug report.

Second run: Reset the season. Used same team all along. Had one disconnect due to power outage (regular season). Did not simulate. Changed difficulty to ROOKIE one game. "Unhandled" error trying to enter championship round.

Ouch town, population you bro.
One common theme I'm seeing is people changing rosters. NOT the players, but the rosters mid flight.
Out of habit, I make a friendly roster, ranked, conquest/mini and a goof around squad. I shuffle players in and out while testing cards, but I do use those roster lineups exclusive to the game mode.
Another item of note for myself, is that I've never completed the HR with AS card mission. I've tallied HR for it, but never 10. I just don't use the AS cards enough.
Are you currently still "stuck" in the area between the playoffs and championship?
Does the unhandled Server Exception happen when loading mini season or only when you try to enter the first game of the CS?

I went back to the thread I made last year on the whole "Unhandled Server Exception" situation. It's worth a copy and paste of the following...
*I'm saying no because the true answer of an unhandled server exception error in python, relates to the user (or in this case, console, ui or web) trying to access the data, the data being sent, and the user not accepting it. The user then tries to hit the data library again, and the data server says... I'm already here with your information silly.
I know it sounds stupid, but there's nothing wrong with the data. Most every case where you're getting booted, the game is saving your progress, you're not seeing it right away, but then it magically appears next time you successfully sync.*
Taking the above into account, perhaps trying to keep your roster stable after finishing one round and moving on to the next is key. Maybe you sold a card that you used the previous round.
You'll notice that the stamina on your pitchers carries over from series to series in the playoffs. Removing or replacing a SP or even RP could be causing the sync issue with stamina.
Another silly thought is going BACK to a lesser version of a card you might have upgraded. For instance, replacing 91 Mariano with the 84.
Once again, I'm not able to see everything on your team etc. I'm just brainstorming here trying to figure out what might be broken.

Also, I made no changes to my roster/team when going from first round of playoffs to championship series.

Okay. Can you recall any SP or RP card changes you might have made after the last playoff win?I see you mentioned this already.
Do you have an empty roster spot out of the 4 spots? If yes, literally drop a 26 man full of commons and then try to enter mini season with that squad. I'm interested in seeing if that works.

BTW, I'm off this week, so I'm around a lot to try to help figure out the triggers here and then get SDS to focus on our findings.

Went in, created a new squad of Commons, went back into Mini-Seasons, and...

When it works its the best offline mode they ever added. You are lying to yourself if you think no one plays it
It is the best offline mode added, hands down. It's a reason I want to try to figure out what's causing random errors for some, and flawless play for others.

Went in, created a new squad of Commons, went back into Mini-Seasons, and...
I would absolutely hate to suggest a full reinstall. A full reinstall and then having it working, would identity the issue as one where console data is getting either corrupted or unable to be used because you have corrupt data that was sent to SDS somehow during your run.
I'm at a loss for suggestions for you unfortunately. Maybe somebody will check in that previously had issues and was able to restart without problems.
I mean, re-running another season isn't even an option for you based on what you are saying. Even the CSR reply from SDS should have suggested a reinstall at the least.

It is the best offline mode added, hands down. It's a reason I want to try to figure out what's causing random errors for some, and flawless play for others.
I agree. FWIW heres what I have done.
No issues other than a few Crashes, which IMO have resulted from spamming X at the start menu, because it would go back to pitcher select after the game.
Play 20-22 games on allstar, Quit the rest, playoffs on Veteran.
Changed cards, not lineups, after getting 10 homeruns with allstars.
Hard wired PS5, fairly average internet.
I don't ever add a player straight to the team from packs either, which IIRC caused a couple issues last year. -
I'm hoping (if nothing else) finding some commonalities from people other than them saying "Unhandled Server Exception".
I'm wondering if something stupid is happening, like the team you were supposed to be playing against, loses it's DD access or PS plus. Their roster gets corrupted, which in turn, makes it impossible for you to play them, get their roster loaded, etc. Thus the unhandled Server Exception......
