Where's the DH??

One thing though, i did the city connect moments that is 6 IP and it simulated the ABs i didnt have to hit in either moment

Oh, I thought that was just a fix for all moments this year? I don't remember how the ones went for the program xp.

I mean I guess if you can play with guys who have been dead for decades why pretend to mimic real baseball? It would be like if Madden just took out field goals because they thought it would be more fun.

Why would you want a DH? I think it's the worst rule in baseball and should be removed from the game, period.
The pitcher should have to bat or leave the game. -
I understand why the global DH rule was implemented but as an old guy who grew up only following the NL I think it removes a lot of strategy from the game of baseball. When do you pinch hit for pitcher? Double Switches to maximize the batting order when you pinch hit for a pitcher. Sacrifice bunts. Your bench bats become less of a priority if you don't need to pinch hit for a pitcher once or twice a game.
But the rule is now implemented and SDS will need to eventually put it in DD.

I don’t know that they HAVE to. I mean, how long has the AL had DH? Even when interleague started, the NL teams had to use it occasionally, and even before that in post season. Even with all of that, there has been no DH in DD. So, yeah, they don’t have to.

I think player demand, or even possible MLB demands might force them to do so.
But I don't think it is an easy or quick fix for them since the mode was designed from the ground up to not have a DH.

SDS could have added DH to DD at any time and have not. I honestly don't expect them to, based on how they have tackled the subject in the past. We all knew universal DH was coming to MLB, if they really wanted it in DD they would have after the 2020 season.

Actually not true, there have been baseball games without MLB license. In fact SDS could make DD entirely without it, we create our own teams. SDS only needs MLBPA and likeness rights from retired players. Now if they didn't have the MLB license no one would care about franchise mode or play now, oh wait most people don't care about that. Not saying SDS will drop MLB, but they don't need it for DD.

Exactly you get 8 beast lineup hitters and 5 beast benchbats and you guys that screech for the DH want to remove the only semblance of managerial decisions in the mode?
