I mowed the grass, went to grocery store, cleaned the house, did the laundry, and the kids both just had birthdays so they are happy to be left alone either their new presents, and i gave my son $30 to download more minecraft stuff. I did all this before Friday because the wife and I planned this to be a video game weekend.

This week, I had two music concerts, a regional music festival, a couple coaching meetings, and off season basketball planning.
Next week my son has college application interviews and I have to prepare for state music festival and state forensics.
Not everyone can grind 25 hours in a couple days. Thus, this game shouldn't cater to the very few that have literally nothing else to do.

It seems pretty rough for stubs so far. Doesn’t help that I had a buy order go through and wasn’t given the card. So that was a waste of stubs. Sent in a ticket so hopefully I get a refund for that in 3-4 months lol.
Collections are going to be rough if you want to keep every card. It looks like you’re going to have to sell your rewards every time to keep up.
The other way to look at it is if stubs are harder to come buy, the prices for some cards should be lower than usual once things settle.

Yeah the changes they made to rtts last year really screwed the rtts players over. The mode is dead now. Now it's just a means to cheese xp. There is no replayability.

I believe the OP complaint was not with the lack of content, I think they understand they consumed it faster than the avg person, after completing all that content they see very little value gained without the help of a lucky pull from a small pool of reward packs. Pre-order packs are great but should not be counted as rewards for playing modes.

The one thing I'll say is there were tons of posts at the beginning of last year saying the same thing. "casual players will never get the bosses" with this path. By the end of the first inning those posts were non existent. Give them the chance to add more ways to get XP before getting too worried

Yes, I said I was done with the game last year, and I was. We had three months of constant server crashes, and an entire year of freeze offs. If you were cool playing through all of that, I applaud you. I was not OK with continuing to play a game that never got fixed.
I am trying the game again this year, with hesitation. So far, gameplay and servers have been vastly improved, and my one freeze off was in a conquest game (weird).
However, I will not be spending any additional money, regardless of the quality of the game this year.
Lastly, thank you for being so concerned about others that you remember me! It means a lot, I'm thankful I've been in your memory for so long.

It’s all about the double XP the last 10 (or so) days of the programs. When that happens you’re getting 8-10k per game against the CPU. Hitting is kinda poor this year so far so XP may end up being less than that until they give us something other than noodle bats.

I think they are going to force us to choose taking stubs or collecting cards. Last year it was pretty easy to do both. You could earn 20 to 30k a day just from playing and at the same time put any cards you pulled in the sets. This year I have my stub count up pretty quick, it was over 110k until I bought Cover Ohtani for 30k. I also have bought only one other card, Prospect Tork for 16k. However, I have sold pretty much everything I have pulled. Every prospect so far from conquest, most equipement, perks, all silvers, a lot of golds, in order to get this amount. So unless I start flipping cards like crazy and not playing the game or buy stubs with real money, I don't see myself completing the LS anytime soon. With that said, with the cover athlete/ art card from preorder, golds from the reward path and the no sell FOTF my team is pretty nice for being so early. But stubs are going to be hard to come by unless they add another means to acquire them by playing the game.

I'm very concerned about the state of the game tomorrow. I'm hoping that the servers are ready, hoping that they did something to prevent a repeat of last year's launch, but something tells me they haven't...

Yeah, I have not played as much as you but I done all the CQ Maps some moments, 3 RS games, Starter Program, Mini seasons was not counting Wins for me and giving me loses when I won. I have pulled, Wheeler, Betts, Marte, Harper, Degrom as of Diamonds, I sold Degrom and Bought T Turner to finish dodger collection. I only need Tatis Jr to finish the NL West collection. I have a pretty solid team. I sold all those diamond cards to finish the NL West. I already had Betts. I picked Manlte out of the choice pack and Donaldson as the cover player. I was given Tucker from my first FOF player who is currently on my bench.

Possibly. All I have to compare this year too is last year. And I've read form more than a few people on here that last year was a bit of an anomaly.
Look, it might be a little more difficult this year, but NMS is still going to be completely possible and easy to have a good squad. It might just not be quite as easy to have every single last card in the game, which was extremely easy to do in 21.
I finished 21 with all the player cards and I did not use more than half of them, I do not need to do that again until Oct when it might be a little easier.

I felt I got a lot accomplished in the first 3 days while doing family things. I did not get far in the Feature Program because I was doing the NL west collections flipping some but I finished all the CQ maps and the Mystery one like last year did it 3 times getting 5 free packs each time. I did reach the first FOF player and was given Tucker. All I need is Tatis Jr to finish NL West Collection.

I've payed maybe 4 BR gamesAll that and I'm just now coming up on the first fotf pack where I'll be allowed choose and to sell my card. Not that it matters because the prices of those cards are down to 30k already. The cards started hitting the market yeaterday. I can say as someone who hasn't stopped playing other than to sleep, there is definitely xp glitches going on.
All this gamepaly and the actual program thus far has only awarded me 4 standard show packs (not including the conquest packs) everything has been a stadium or a no sell.

And Marcus stromanI got reasonably lucky with these cards but still, NO STUBS.
I have maybe earned 50k stubs from all this gameplay. I know they will release more content and more ways to make stubs, but the nms people have a legit gripe imo.
Edit: I know there will be more opportunities to earn stubs and card later in the game. All I'm saying if right now the content that allows earning has been majorly suppressed.
How many hours is this?
Idk man like 25 maybe. Don't judge lol. I mowed the grass, went to grocery store, cleaned the house, did the laundry, and the kids both just had birthdays so they are happy to be left alone either their new presents, and i gave my son $30 to download more minecraft stuff. I did all this before Friday because the wife and I planned this to be a video game weekend.
She's playing uncharted.
No judgement, just understand that your life situation is certainly different than others.
This week, I had two music concerts, a regional music festival, a couple coaching meetings, and off season basketball planning.
Next week my son has college application interviews and I have to prepare for state music festival and state forensics.
Not everyone can grind 25 hours in a couple days. Thus, this game shouldn't cater to the very few that have literally nothing else to do.
I believe the OP complaint was not with the lack of content, I think they understand they consumed it faster than the avg person, after completing all that content they see very little value gained without the help of a lucky pull from a small pool of reward packs. Pre-order packs are great but should not be counted as rewards for playing modes.
agreed, but I never said a word about his consumption. I discussed his little reward, with his massive amount of output to get said amount.
Those of us who work our butts off, and take care of our families can not possibly play 25 hours in three days. So if OP didn't get much, what about the rest of us?
I felt I got a lot accomplished in the first 3 days while doing family things. Did get far in the Feature Program because I was doing the NL west collections flipping some but I finished all the CQ maps and the Mystery one like last year did it 3 times getting 5 free packs each time. I did reach the first FOF player and was given Tucker. All I need is Tatis Jr to finish NL West Collection.

Why don’t you just go 12-0 in BR to get stubs?
