Why is it that they have released this game for maybe 20 years straight and every time its like the first time they're doing it?

Sure they will be in packs like crazy going forward but silly move.
When you get to the next AL West FOTF on the program path it is a choice pack I believe.

Yes and from what i understand it's random who you get out of the choice pack. I'm not there personally but according to another poster thats how it's working at least this time around.
So you might get Trout but you could get Haniger or Murphy.

I'm sure some people are closing in on it. I am only at 100k so I have not reached the first one yet.
We should know at 255k since that is the first "Choose One" pack you get. It is for the NL Central. I want that Tommy Edman so we will see how it goes.
AL West, unfortunately is the last of the divisions we get that pack for, that is probably how they are trying to limit it.

The first pack for each division is a random choice and is no sell. The second pack for each division is a choice pack and, I believe, is sellable. I am pretty sure that is what they said in last Thursday's stream. I am too lazy to go check though.
You are able to put buy orders in on them so that hints at the second pack (the choice one) being a sellable reward.

Bad - losing Randy Johnson after a complete transaction
Ugly - Ryan Howard disappearing after canceling a sale order and SDS probably not going to do anything to replace my lost players/stubs

In the SDS stream they said the 1st pack os random and not sellable, the next pack for that division is a choice pack and it is sellable.

Good - game play, I’ve noticed a ton of hit variety. Singles and doubles in the gap a lot more often.
The bad - servers, what a joke and it’s gonna be worse on April 4th when Xbox gamepass goes live.
The ugly - the sh*tty XP amounts. I’ve completed the USA conquest, played non stop , done some moments and I’m at 75K XP.
You get 500 measly XP for the player missions and moments for the program tab. Only 15K XP for showdown? That should be 25K minimum and reputable up to 3x
We need a double XP weekend ASAP!!

Moments are fine.
DH is no big deal, glad we have it IRL, but not in the game. Takes away too many players for us. I like using my bench and my bullpen.
Commentary i always turn off anyways but I still have it on because these guys are different. It is a big change from years past but I dont think it is bad, just a big change of pace.
Co-op havent tried yet, not sure if I will.
Innings played instead of wins is a win yes.
Also agree that NMS seems very challenging this year. Hopefully it isnt so bad though as that is probably all that would be needed to shun me and many others from this game. -

They were stiffing us with the XP last year too, very stingy. It wasn’t until we kept saying it on the forum that they did something about it.
Speaking of, since we pre-ordered, we should’ve had this weekend with a double xp bonus.

The good - Conquest sim times. Hopefully that stays steady during the Tuesday official launch
