Sony was happy about the inclusion of Xbox (including gamepass) after the financials came in, PS users have a right to feel screwed, all of that is a separate issue to what I think Rodol1551 summed up very well

I would add that if the bundle included ownership of the game in the $50 package, I still wouldn't buy it, but I would understand what they are insinuating by charging the extra $15
It's not a bad look, you're just mad because you want it for $25-30 instead of paying the $50 they are asking for. And SDS clearly doesn't mind having the upgrade cost be $25/30 for ps users as they've shown with their pricing...like i've said this feels intentional and intended to be a negative for xbox users. Either a lot of people will pay it, which good for SDS...or a lot of people won't and PS users will have a 4 day headstart on most xbox users...good for PS users.

Not happy about being charged an extra $15 for no reason is entitled? In the end, I am not buying the package and I am no longer spending any extra money on in game add ons, Others can do whatever they feel like.

This is why they should have never put the game on Xbox. They whine for years begging to have the game on Xbox and when they finally do get it and on gamepass to boot, they still find something to complain about.
I own a PS and an Xbox, when the game was on PS only I bought it on PS, So I am both a PS user and an Xbox user who is complaining therefore yet another useless comment.

You are sure acting like a child here. I find it hard to believe an adult would have a problem with something that is optional that costs an extra $15. If you are an adult, I suggest getting a better job if $15 causes you to throw a fit.

I understand it plenty. It’s just laughable how much this bothers you. I’m sure all the beancounters did the math and determined this was the best price point to maximize profits. Losing your money on you not buying the early release package will be easily made up by everyone that will buy it.

I have never seen someone complain this much over something that is only $15 more and is optional. I’m afraid of the tirade they must of went on when they raised the price of video games from $60 to $70 for new gen console games.

The pricing is off. The weird Sony loyalist cannot wrap their head around the concept that the game is not free if it is part of a paid-for subscription (you did not get free CDs in the mail, you paid for a CD subscription service). There is no sense of entitlement, and there is nothing wrong with being thoughtful about purchases.

I have not said anything about them raising next gen from $60 to $70 for 2 reasons, I have not yet moved to next gen as there is no real draw for me to move to next gen and I am happy to wait until there is a console price drop so I have no skin in the game. I have no problem with them raising the cost of games on next gen. If you think them raising the price of games from 60 to 70 is the same as this issue then I guess no child left behind really doesn't work -

I am aware of all my options, I could probably flip for well over $100 worth of stubs, but again you are missing the point, charging me more because I am getting the game through gamepass, feels to me, like they are saying my money (the money they accepted to be on gamepass) is not as good. If they feel that way I will spend my money elsewhere. I am guessing most of their revenue comes from the add on purchases, not selling the title, so it would seem to me to be in there best interest to get as many users active on the game as possible, not to squabble over $15 which as you put it is not that much money, you think that same $15 is not childish for them to jam in there?
I did have another possibility although I don't think it is the case.
The only cost difference to them between selling 1 early access vs selling 100 early access is server load, maybe they fear that the addition of xbox users to the early access environment would stress the servers and therefore cause problems with the servers to the same level that we see on release day. Therefore the $15 is there to de-insentivize those who would rather wait than pay a fluffed price.

I don't have nintendo. but again, if I get it on playstation or nintendo, they are getting that purchase price + the money from gamepass that I am also paying towards, I could just buy the same versions direct on xbox. As I said, I am not happy with the message being sent, and will chose to spend that money someplace else.
So in my case, that attempt to get the extra $15, cost them $100 that I will no longer be spending on add on purchases. I might be a lone case and in the long run they don't care, but I speak with both my voice and my money and I want them both aligned
