Sony was happy about the inclusion of Xbox (including gamepass) after the financials came in, PS users have a right to feel screwed, all of that is a separate issue to what I think Rodol1551 summed up very well

And SDS clearly doesn't mind having the upgrade cost be $25/30 for ps users as they've shown with their pricing...like i've said this feels intentional and intended to be a negative for xbox users. This can all be solved next year by taking it off gamepass. Then they don’t have to worry about the early access package being too expensive.
What's funny is that most likely they will do the exact opposite, and start releasing more once playstation titles amongst other consoles, and PS users will continue to buy PS consoles and complain about gamepass and xbox users because of some unexplained loyalty to PS

Again, I will make it as simple as I can for the last time
1 - While I don't pay the money directly to SDS for The Show, SDS gets paid for the game being on xbox, my money goes into a general pool which is then used to pay SDS to be on gamepass. It appears free but SDS is getting paid.
2 - My complaint is not about $15, my complaint is that the package has at most $35 worth of value, and in my mind, in a clear attempt to "stick it" to gamepass users, tacked on a fluff $15, my complaint is with their decision to stick it to gamepass users as if the money they accepted for being on gamepass was not good enough.
Then stand your ground and don’t get it. You’ll find out next year if your complaint changes anything. I’m willing to bet it won’t.

I understand it plenty. It’s just laughable how much this bothers you. I’m sure all the beancounters did the math and determined this was the best price point to maximize profits. Losing your money on you not buying the early release package will be easily made up by everyone that will buy it.

First off, not mad. Second off, it's a bad look from the perspective of the entitled xbox users who think the price should be what they decide the price should be...and that's it. Nobody else thinks it's a bad look.
You don't think it is a bad look, fine, I do, and anyone else who reads the complaint can make their own decision. How are xbox users entitled? Not happy about being charged an extra $15 for no reason is entitled? In the end, I am not buying the package and I am no longer spending any extra money on in game add ons, Others can do whatever they feel like.

This is why they should have never put the game on Xbox. They whine for years begging to have the game on Xbox and when they finally do get it and on gamepass to boot, they still find something to complain about.
I own a PS and an Xbox, when the game was on PS only I bought it on PS, So I am both a PS user and an Xbox user who is complaining therefore yet another useless comment.

I understand it plenty. It’s just laughable how much this bothers you. I’m sure all the beancounters did the math and determined this was the best price point to maximize profits. Losing your money on you not buying the early release package will be easily made up by everyone that will buy it.

I have never seen someone complain this much over something that is only $15 more and is optional. I’m afraid of the tirade they must of went on when they raised the price of video games from $60 to $70 for new gen console games.

The pricing is off. The weird Sony loyalist cannot wrap their head around the concept that the game is not free if it is part of a paid-for subscription (you did not get free CDs in the mail, you paid for a CD subscription service). There is no sense of entitlement, and there is nothing wrong with being thoughtful about purchases.

I have not said anything about them raising next gen from $60 to $70 for 2 reasons, I have not yet moved to next gen as there is no real draw for me to move to next gen and I am happy to wait until there is a console price drop so I have no skin in the game. I have no problem with them raising the cost of games on next gen. If you think them raising the price of games from 60 to 70 is the same as this issue then I guess no child left behind really doesn't work -
