Xbox Gamepass Early Access Package insanely overpriced

I know this is probably more of a microsoft decision as opposed to SDS but the early access bundle for those planning on using gamepass to get the base game is insanely overpriced, for $50 why don't we get the same pre-order bonuses as the digital deluxe version.
Early Access $50
- You Don't Get the Game from this, must have Gamepass access to get the game
- Four Days Early Access.
- 2 Gold Choice Pack.

- 1 Ballplayer Pack.
- Double Daily login rewards.

- MLB the Show 22 on Xbox either gen (thought this was implied but clearly not)

- Five Gold Choice packs.
- 20 The Show packs.
- One Ballplayer pack.

Standard Pre-order is $70 and gets
- MLB the Show 22 on Xbox either gen (thought this was implied but clearly not)

I was thinking about this… This is the first year my expectations for the game have been low because I literally played the last game like 3 or 4 months. With that said… for me, the desire to play is at its higher lever those first months specially the two weeks after launch but paying +12 euros per day for those 4 days of early access just doesn’t pay off. I couldn't care less about the packs and stuff because they are already announcing 90 diamond cards, and it is extremely easy to build a competitive team. So I guess I'm going to get drunk and have fun going out till the 5th.

I think you're missing the point.
If you consider the cost of the game as part of the $100 price point for the digital deluxe, you can consider all of the bonuses valued at about $30. You can call it $40 if you were going to just get the PS4/Xbox One versions, but digital deluxe comes with PS5/Series versions so $30 is a closer match.
For $30 over the cost of the standard game, you get early access, 2 diamond packs, 5 gold packs, 20 show packs, a ballplayer pack, double daily bonuses, a bat skin, and 25K in stubs.
If you have game pass and spend $50 on this early access "deal", you get 2 less diamond packs, 3 less gold packs, 10 less show packs, and 15K less in stubs compared to digital deluxe.
At any rate, you're spending more and getting less which makes it a terrible deal. Even if they didn't want it to be a 1 for 1 match to make the digital deluxe more enticing, they should have bridged that gap considerably.

It’s the add on for game pass that’s $50. Even if they don’t want to go the Forza route of just paying the price difference of the standard and deluxe editions, they could at least make the pricing make sense. The difference of standard and MVP is $15 and the difference for Digital Deluxe is $30, but what you get from this $50 bundle isn’t even as good as the MVP edition.
Even if they made the DD upgrade $50 ($20 more than the difference), I’d buy that in a heartbeat and I’m sure many people would as well. The way it’s priced now, people are better off buying the full MVP version for a bit more and actually owning the game.

It's possible for the digital deluxe to be a better value without the Early Access Package looking like a bad joke. As Danh said, the bonuses aren't even as good as the MVP edition.
It doesn't really matter all that much to me. I have digital deluxe for Switch pre-ordered and will play it on Game Pass a few days later. If I were not getting a digital deluxe though, I definitely wouldn't waste $50 on this Early Access Package.
It just doesn't make sense to me. These are digital goods that cost SDS nothing. If they want to get people to actually spend the $50, they should make it more enticing. I'm sure a lot of people will look at this and pass. Then again, math isn't a strong suit for a lot of people in this country so maybe it will sell like gangbusters...

If you don't have Gamepass then the early access package does not apply to you, I 100% agree with you that if I was not getting the game via gamepass I would get the more expensive option and think the extra price is worth it, you are missing the point, if the early access package was in the $20-$30 range I think that would be much more reasonable.
My post is about the Early Access Package price, not an argument with the normal version vs deluxe version pricing, I am fine with that.
I value the base game at around $50 or $60 (which I get by paying for a gamepass subscription), so the early access price being an extra $50 would double that making it worth the $100 deluxe edition, yet I am getting rewards closer to the $70 version,

yeah, I don't play H2H either, but there is value in starting DD offline earlier, I just think the add on for gamepass early access is under rewarded since Game Value ($50) and Access Package $50 do not get the same rewards as $100 digital deluxe version when the cost appears to be the same

First and so I am clear: I agree that the gamepass addition is over-priced.
I disagree with the evaluation, and a different lens may ease some of the frustration. "I value the base game at around $50 or $60 (which I get by paying for a gamepass subscription)," But that's not the actual value of the game in gamepass. if you pay $50 for the subscription, we could argue that its actual value $of sub/number of games.
You could say "well I buy game pass only for TS" Great, and your evaluation dictates your purchasing decision not the value of the product in the market. I agree with the frustration and not the evaluation.
I may just buy to own the game. I put so many hours into it the ROI is ridiculous compared to other games I play.
