Bold Take: What will they REMOVE this year?

I think they’ll keep removing modes until it is pretty much only DD. Maybe this year will be the last for RTTS, and I bet MTO will be gone.
I wish they would get rid of moments, but I doubt they will.

I guess the modes get stale for people who have played for several years but for new players or even second and third year players, I think they are still fun and fresh. I have played DD all year and just started MTO for fun and I dig it a lot. Still prefer DD but it's nice to have other options.

We've been doing Inning Programs for 3 years now. Seems like a good a time as any to mix up the formula a bit.
Innings programs need a major overhaul. That’s a good guess for a major removal / change.

MTO would be better if we could use are DD teams or use the players from DD teams that we have cards for that team. If I use the dodger I could use Jackie Robinson, Duke Snider etc...

Hopefully they remove all-star difficult and below from ranked

I’m ok with an overhaul to the innings program. Don’t get rid of moments. Def don’t get rid of Topps now. Dont get rid of conquest. Bring back conquest extreme.
Bring back pitcher handedness before you start. This would make cards like (for example) Shin Soo Choo with the Reds usable again. I mean managers IRL know days in advance.

️True. I hope they scale those back a bit. I think they should descrease TN card attributes but allow them to have inside edge if there’s a season.
Could old Topps Now cards be brought back?

They won't show pitcher handiness as players can back out if they have a lefty heavy lineup and their opponent is starting a lefty.

Wait a minute, you never got to see the opponents line up. At least I don’t remember that. I remember seeing pitcher handedness and you could set you’re lineup accordingly. In fact I’m sure it was that way cuz I would watch CB5 purposely bring in a lefty in the second inning if his opponent was left heavy.

Looks like we are losing multiple Pre-Order selection cards and replacing them with the option of a Shohei batter and a Shohei Pitcher card.
Also, can we PLEASE lose Shippett Stadium. I am so sick of playing there year in and year out.
What I really want to see is the locking of a roster and setting up of 2 lineups...1 for RHP and one for LHP. We should not know which one is being activated until we are on the load screen.

I don’t think they’ll do it, but I’d love it if they removed conquest and put in something better for the offline grind. Maybe that’s what “mini seasons” are?
I think they remove pitchers hitting too. In other words, I think they finally adopt the DH universally. This will be good since it’s fun to use an extra hitter with there being SO MANY choices, especially at first base.

Moments. Please. For the love of all things holy, get rid of Moments. The way they purposefully screw the user on Moments makes me want to scratch my eyeballs out.

If the world depended on my getting 4 total bases in one game—ON ROOKIE (supposedly)—with Orlando Cepeda, y’all better go ahead and kiss ya mamas because it ain’t happening.

Hopefully conquest gets a huge adaptation. Playing 3 inning games against the CPU is fun and great for stat missions but I lost count after about 1000 simulated territories last year. I wanted to keep track and see how many meaningless button presses were required for absolutely no reason but it was even more annoying than doing them all.
Just require games against the teams you want and let us live our life, throw that waste of time and energy simulating territories in the trash and figure something out. Nobody wants to beat 30 teams then spend nearly 2 hours simulating the United States of America.

This is a great point. I steer away from playing conquest because it’s sooooo boring with all the simulation. Just make me beat like 5 teams on HOF or something and be done with it. No need to go through with all the minutia of adding fans, moving fans…etc. it’s inane.

All-star and below are garbage rng dominated levels. Save that for offline play and BR.
