MLB The Show is the best $99 I spend every year. Yes, I make a handful of snarky comments during the year, but I enjoy the game thoroughly.

Always amuses me to go look at the history of people who hate the game this much and have been complaining about it all year to see just how many hours that they have invested in something that they hate.
The number of wasted hours playing something you don't enjoy is staggering.

I think these posts are somewhat viable. Us baseball fans are stuck with The Show. This is the only top tier baseball game on the market. SDS needs to hear how unsatisfied we are with the product.
I come on the forums for fun while I'm bored at work, haven't actually started the game up in months. Havent actually, really played since late summer maybe.Please don't take the lazy route again next year SDS. Please. I want MLB to be a part of my cycle of games I normally play. But I can't bring myself to play the pointless DD grind or the repetitive gameplay of single player modes. It's 2022. We have game systems like VR and mini-super computers like the PS5. It's time to catch up...
I'll probably be on the forums next year too reading what everyone thinks. But not buying the game until it's on sale or I see that there's a clear improvement.

There are definitely some kinks here and there they have to fix but pointless DD grind? Its by far the most comprehensive game mode out there in all sports games….what more do you want??? Moaning about how it needs clear improvements….let’s hear what you suggest?

It's strange that it's been the case for the past couple years. We didn't get 21 announced until February, which I guess was because of covid and all postponing stuff. I remember announcements being in late December/early January, in the past.
I'm not sure why we wait until February this year also? Is it because of covid (which is in decline atm) or the lockout, or a combination of the two?

You mean a game that is basically at the end of it's life cycle doesn't have many people left playing it? Add in the RL lockout stuff and the uncertainty of baseball itself. With those two factors, it's so surprising to me the game population hsa dwindled!

Harper was wearing a hoodie when they first announced the cover in 19, so its not like there is no way around it
